Today, my wife and I were really excited to try out this new location, but it ended with great dissapointment. When we arrived the place was busy and it was good that they had two employees at the the register with to tablets running as you walk inside. The employee that took our order was patient as we looked over the menu to decide what we want to eat. I would like to say that it would have been nice if she have asked if I have a rewards account to accur points. Come to find out as well that my wife could have choice of chips, apple or baguette which was not asked while we order her pick two soup and salad. They just automatically give you the baguette. The employees should be trained on to ask questions to the guest or at least give then options. They were out of the French Dip by 1:30 pm so I decided to order the whole Chibatta Cheesesteak. After we ordered and got out drinks we decided to eat outside since it was a nice day also when we arrive there wasn't any guest that were out there at that time. I notice that the outside potion had a lot of trash on the ground that looked like it sat there for a long time I wasn't expecting anything emaculant just picked up. You can tell how nice a restaurant is base on how well they keep there dining area clean. The outside was definetly neglected. It took about 20 min for our order to be ready. After I got our order, I sat down I could tell just by looking at the sandwich that there wasn't hardly any meat on it and when I opened the sandwich there was less than 3oz of meat for the whole sandwich ( I would say 1.5 oz of meat on each half). I sat there and really contemplated on taking it back to get a refund and eat somewhere else. My wife's salad was good but the chicken and wild rice soup was less the mediocre. The soup was warm not hot like a soup should be. I did go to the window and let a shift lead or manager know that my sandwich was mostly bread and her solution was to give me more meat. I was reluctant to give that I try. However, when I did get the the meat it was only enough for half of the sandwich. I would say it was less than 4oz on one half of the sandwich and the other half had like maybe 2oz. For a $12.50 sandwich you would think you would get more. I know this is a NEW LOCATION but during the start of a new resteraunt you should really focus on putting effort into the food as well as the service you provide. I feel as though this new location is being neglectful and not trying as hard as they should be doing. The start of any new resteraunt could make it or break it during the first 6months of being open. I hope they still have time to turn...
Read moreI stopped by here recently for the pick 2 and got a 1/2 chipotle chicken sandwich and small rustic potato soup.
Very tiny. Hardly any chicken or avocado on it, nothing like the menu sandwiches that show a decent half size sandwich. I spent over $12 dollars so I felt very mislead and cheated.
The young folks that were working seemed like they were being trained well by their manager. They need time for the learning curve to balance out. I don't doubt they're on their way to being amazing. I saw them hustling and the kne who took my order was courteous.
So overall I would say please don't skimp out on my food portions and make a sandwich you would want to eat yourself.
I might wait a while before returning and not visit when I'm hungry with hunger pings.
Update: I tried with this Panera Bread location, I really did. However today was ABYSMAL! WE SAT IN THE DRIVE-THRU 17 MINUTES. Here's what happened,
We were over charged so had to ask for a refund.
Maria the manager handed us the wrong order.
Maria would not allow for me to talk and kept cutting me off while I was on the phone with her.
Even though the order was wrong the food portions were skimpy and lettuce was brown with no chicken in the Asian Chicken Salad.
Once at the store Maria didn't even offer to at least give me the rustic potato soup for my daughter who is now at work hungey because Maria is a clueless manager and doesn't know how to check orders before handling them to customers who were sitting in her line for nearly 20 minutes. She said has kids too, however you would think she would have cared enough to ive me my daughter's order. This location is so low-class ran it's sad. Maria basically gave me a refund and then blamed me for "rushing" her and said it was my fault that she grabbed the wrong order.
She also apparently gave me a refund for the first mishap but when I asked for a receipt for that she didn't give me one and said it was voided. So hopefully she being honest and really did refund my card twice. I really hope they get some better management in the future.
Also, usually when there is a mistake a manager would want to know the steps that led to that mistake so it doesn't happen again. Maria lacks the desire to use critical thinking skills and simply doesn't care about customers. I wasn't yelling or causing a scene, I calmly explained my experience but Maria didn't care or want to hear it.
The young man who took my order was the only caring person I had dealings with. Thank you to whoever he was. Very kind...
Read moreWe decided to try this new Kyle location last Saturday after it had been open for about 3 weeks thinking all the kinks would be ironed out. No such luck. First of all, this Panera is not like other Panera restaurants. It is small and not cozy like other locations. The baked goods section is very small and doesn't have much selection. You have to order at a kiosk and we didn't see a single employee outside of the kitchen for about 15 minutes and the restaurant was full. Then we noticed only 2 tables had food and everyone else was sitting there staring at the kitchen or standing by the drinks counter waiting on their food. We ordered our food at 7:04 pm. After 30 minutes, we asked the kitchen how much longer it was going to be before we got our food and they said they couldn't see our order on the screen so they weren't sure. We waited 10 more minutes then asked if we could get a refund and cancel our order. We were told the manager was in the kitchen and didn't have time so she wrote down our information and order number and said they would do it the next day. We walked down to Cava, ate dinner and returned and our order still wasn't ready. We asked for the manager again and he reluctantly came out and still couldn't find our order, so he manually processed the refund. At 8:30 pm, we received a text that our order was ready. Based on other reviews and posts on nearby neighborhood pages, it appears that this is a daily occurrence. It's too bad because we were really looking forward to having a...
