Tower Hill Cottages — Hotel in Laconia

My family and I just stays there for 4 days in cottage 5 I believe on 7/12/16. The people who own it are very sweet and always want to make there guest happy. The best part of our cottage was the updated kitchen! It was so nice we hung out there the most. Cooked dinner and saved money on food because it was fully stocked with all the necessary you need to cook. The only prob with the family cottages is that they don't have AC!! And it was HOT that week! So hopefully they put them in soon because I would love to come back but that's the only reason I would not be back because of the AC issues. The fans provided did nothing. I am so disappointed to report that the new owners are nothing like the previous. I had to call multiple times before I reached a person, even though I had left multiple messages. I booked a campsite for 5 nights starting today. I called the campground a week ago to confirm, I never heard from them. I called this morning at 9am since I will be driving over 6 hours to get there... no one answered and no one called me babk... at all. Okay, first the owners Rick and Lisa are truly down to earth and incredibly welcoming and kind. Well maintained beautiful grounds and close to the beach as well as having a pool. Cabins are rustic as advertised. My biggest concerns are cleanliness especially in the beds when I go somewhere. The cabin and bed linens were clean. I’m a big camping fan, and my daughter is absolutely not. So, a cabin would be the closest thing, and I can’t say enough that I loved my time there and can’t wait to go back. I just left today.
