We had a party of 7 (3 of which were children ages 1, 2, and 7). When we arrived we were told it would be a 15-20 min wait that turned into an hour. The hostess wasnt at the station when we arrived for at least 5 mins, she came from the kitchen area. Nor did she take our name or anyone who came in after. A party of 5 came in after us and were seated within 10 mins, another party of 5 came in a little later and were again seated before us. Once seated it took our waitress (who never introduced herself) another 15 mins to come take our drink orders, another 10 to get our drinks, another 30 after that for our food, we placed our food order at the same time as the drinks. Once we got our food the waitress never came back to check on us until we were done and she brought the check. When they brought our food it was passed down from the person sitting at the end to whomever it went to. Small things forgotten were passed by the waitress reaching across the table and plates of food to the person. The waitresses arm was an inch from my face as she reached over my plate at one point, so rude. We had to walk up and ask for ketchup and ask the wondering hostess for refills. This isnt our first bad experience with dinner time at IHOP. Going in the mid afternoon isn't a problem. Food is always warm and wait staff is on it and pleasant. Both the hostess and the waitress weren't very pleasant tonight, neither smiled once. Probably the worst experience I've had at an IHOP. Also they were only using half of the restaurant packing...
Read moreI stopped for breakfast at 10:27 am on a Monday and it was about a quarter full. After a short wait, the hostess seated me in a booth. The menu is heavy on the breakfast items, but also has lunch and dinner choices as well.
My server came right over, she was pleasant and cheerful and took my order right away. I ordered a short stack of original pancakes with sausage links. She was not gone for more than a couple of minutes and she brought my breakfast to me. I couldn’t believe it was ready that fast. I was expecting the food to be cold, like it was sitting in the window for a while, because it just seemed to me that there was no way they could have made this that quick.
Well, I was wrong. The pancakes were fresh and fluffy, they were perfect… The sausage was nicely grilled, showing the grill marks and they were hot.
When my server came back to ask how everything was, I told her that I really thought it wasn’t going to be good with how fast it came out and she said she was amazed by that as well. I said the food was really good.
The only issue came when it came time to pay using the QR code and their app. That failed and they had to cash me out locally, but that really wasn’t an issue at all.
This was by far the best run IHOP I have ever been at. I wish everyone was this way. Kudos to the management and team members. ...
Read moreThis location is fine, but terrible all the same; I've got two negative experiences from the past four visits. First, it was positive... the food was pretty nice and it was slow. The second time I came was the same Friday; that was my first negative experience. I waited for an hour to be seated, then wasn't seated, though, I was the first to have been there. The next experience was Wednesday of the week this review was posted, it was like the first, but the food quality was lacking comparatively speaking. The fourth experience is the reason I'm writing this review, the experience hasn't started quite yet, I'm not sat, but I was first here. A Hispanic couple walked in after me, they sat to my left. Then a trio stood in the middle of the waiting area, they then were addressed first to be seated. Though I had been waiting for a little over half an hour, in a not-so-busy waiting area, they were put on the waiting list first. This isn't a nice place, it's not a great place, but it's the only place open at the hour some people get off work. Unfortunately, and I say this with chagrin, it's just a bad experience 50% of the time. Avoid it if it's busy, go to it if it's almost empty, that's the only time...
