If there was a way to leave 0 stars I would, but since that’s not an option, I’m forced to leave 1 star. The waitress/owner was rude, disrespectful, and aggressive as hell for no reason right off the bat. She was annoyed that we had a large group, which I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want the business. When we asked for more chairs she completely ignored us. She stated and I quote, “I can talk to y’all however I want since I’m the owner”, which was an insane thing to say. I didn’t know that being the owner gave you the right to be a stuck up and arrogant person that doesn’t want to do her damn job. One of us is a restaurant manager and said if that was a waitress at their restaurant, they would’ve sent her home for her attitude. Another one of us works in food and stated they couldn’t comprehend why she was being so rude. She got angry when we asked her about what drinks they had as she stated we should’ve listened to her the first time even though not all of us had arrived yet. Hands down the WORST service I have ever seen in my life, and that’s saying something. We paid for the drinks and left since she just kept talking bad about our table and literally did not want to do her job as she continued trying to pick a fight with us. Then when we were leaving she was taking pictures of us and saying good thing she has cameras, which is interesting because the only thing the cameras are going to see is her being rude and insulting a whole bunch of people. If you want Mexican food in town literally go anywhere else instead. Very $$$$$$ I was by myself & my meal & 2 margaritas totaled $51.31. I ordered the fried chimichangas which reflected a &13.99 menu price and i also ordered a strawberry margarita — i didn’t see any of their alcohol beverages on the actual menu so i asked the woman who was providing table service about their margarita selection; she provided a brief rundown of the types but didn’t mention the price — the food was reasonably good & I thought the margarita was delicious. I decided to have a 2nd margarita as things were moving really slow time wise, I opted for a peach margarita & it was just okay. I sat for a really long time waiting for my ticket, even had my card sitting out on the table but despite the server passing by multiple times, I never got a ticket & she never bothered to mention that I had to go to the counter to get my ticket to pay. Finally another customer seated just behind me, who had apparently been there before, got up & went over to counter to settle up & I thought oh, okay they don’t bring the ticket to your table & it was almost like the server suddenly became aware of me & could hear my thoughts bc she called out to me that I had to come to the counter to get the ticket & pay. It’s not that walking over to the counter was a problem, but after patiently waiting as long as I did, it just might have been nice to know. So yeah, $13.99 for the meal and what, $16.00 a piece for the 2 margaritas??? (The ticket gives no breakdown of prices) I guess, but $51.31 was not what I dreamed my bill would be. Won’t be...

RESPONSE TO RESTAURANT

SORRY, NO YOU DO NOT "RECALL CORRECTLY". I HAD 2 KIDS WITH ME, 1 KID OUT OF 3 OF OUR PARTY WAS HUNGRY.. DO YOU RECALL WE EVEN TOOK IT TO GO ..NOT LIKE WE ALL SAT THERE AND INHALED ONE BOWL OF SOUP ; WE ORDERED ONLY MENUDO NO DRINKS NO CHIPS, CHIPS WERE DELIEVERED TO TABLE BUT NOT ASKED FOR..AS WELL AS WATER.. ONE BOWL OF SOUP WAS OVER 20 OUT THE DOOR. PERIOD. DO BETTER.

Stopped in for a quick lunch yesterday , myself and 2 kiddos. No other consumers were in there... Red flag?? I asked for a paper menu to take to go, they didn't want to give me one [awkward] she walked around acting like she was going to "find" one ..i had to ask a few times.. I finally found the pile of them grabbed one and held it up and asked if I could grab one...ok thanks... We had stood there so long my son was asking about menudo , SO I asked her if they served it after i didnt see it on the menu. Sometimes, it's a weekend only type thing. She said yes..I asked her if they add hominy she said yes, we sat down for only 1 bowl of menudo , and my bill was 18.99 ..over 20 out the door for 1 bowl of soup.... also no hominy and low quality meat.. The broth was also nothing to write home about. For reference, we get a half gallon of bomb menudo with honeycomb tripe and hominy for 20 bucks at another location..I feel taken advantage of, to say the least. i won't be back or be...
