Starbucks — Restaurant in Lafayette

We weren't greeted when we walked in but I actually prefer not to be greeted until I approach the counter. My fiancé and I were given plenty of time to peruse the menu and food options before placing our order. I like that! We weren't rushed and the staff were very patient and helpful!

My fiancé knew exactly which drink she wanted. She ordered a grande soy latte. I, on the other hand, wasn't quite so sure because I didn't see "coffee slushy" on the menu. I asked the barista if they served "coffee slushies" and she informed me, with a smile, that the item I craved was called a "frappucino." Needless to say, I was ecstatic. I asked her how a "frappucino" was prepared and she was more than happy to give a detailed description. Since the drink normally contained cow's milk, an ingredient I find repulsive, I told her I couldn't have it. But much to my delight, she told me it could be prepared with soy or coconut milk instead! I chose the former.

We added two everything bagels with cream cheese to our order and were asked if we'd like them toasted. "Of course!" we replied. We paid for our order and sat at a very clean and beautifully stained table to wait for our order to be called. Before we could even get settled, our bagels were ready! My fiancé picked them up from the counter, and we immediately began to spread the perfectly softened cream cheese to each bagel with the butter knives provided to us.

Before we could start on our bagels, the drinks were ready! Such quick wonderful service! Each item was announced very clearly with enthusiasm and unmatched professional charm. We were very very pleased with the fast and friendly service.

Our bagels were toasted to perfection. Not too hard, not too soft. They were warm but not too hot. Best bagel I've ever had off the interstate in the Midwest!

My fiancé was very happy with her grande soy latte. It was nutty, but not too sweet, hot but not too hot. My "frappucino" was out of this world! I asked them to make it with espresso and, boy am I glad I did! It was DELICIOUS! The consistency of the ice with the coffee and soy milk was wonderful and the flavor was nothing short of exceptional! I didn't want it to end!

Overall, we had a FANTASTIC experience at this Starbucks. If we weren't just passing through, we would be back again and again. I'd recommend this oasis to ANY weary traveler in need of a quick pick-me-up and a friendly smile to get them through their day of highway monotony. Great job, Lafayette Starbucks off I-65 exit 172! I was traveling to Chicago and stopped this location on the way. As soon as I walked in , ask if they take Apple Pay and the girl who was making drinks looked at me like she is already tired being serve there, told me yes. I ordered my drink and waited there for 10min, it’s not problem if they were busy but they were 5,6 girls nothing doing and just chatting around. I felt discriminated. I asked if you r busy and taking long, I’d like to cancel my order. When I asked she communicated with the other girl and asked to make it finally. Before I got my drink they were making fun of me and chatting with their headphone. I was only one who ordered one drink. Maybe they have drive through ordered and mobile order but it wasn’t busy compare with o other busy Starbucks. The girls who are working there , aren’t nice. I visit this store on a fairly regular basis 1-3 times a week. Since COVID, the store hours have been iffy though they have gotten a bit better in the prior 6-8 months. However, last evening (Thursday at 20:41 (8:41 p.m.), I stopped by the store drive thru. The lights in the store were on, there were about 10 vehicles in the parking lot, and the Starbucks sign was lit up. The barista spoke through the ordering box indicating that the store closed at 20:30. So, I left. I thought that was a bit odd and got home and looked at the app - which indicated the store closed at 21:00. One day 2 weeks ago, I ordered through the app at 05:05 to pick-up through the drive through. Arrived at the store at 05:15 and waited at the speaker for 5 minutes (no one ahead of me), opted to pull through the drive thru area, park, and go in to pick up the drink that I paid for, which was waiting at the counter.... very frustrating. That's two strikes...may have to...
