9/5/23 Update: I still stand by my earlier comments for last year’s visit. But todays redeemed it almost entirely. Generous portions, clean dining room, courteous & attentive staff — no complaints! Updating from 1 star to 4.
Sept ‘22 Original: We’ve been to lots of Moe’s locations and this was by far the worst experience we’ve had. Overflowing trash right by the front door. Employees who seemed to be hiding in the kitchen until they felt we’d waited in line long enough to be irritated but not quite long enough to leave for somewhere else. Out of rice. Out of fresh onions. Out of most protein options that I saw. Black beans “weren’t ready yet” despite looking like they were spilling out of a vat on the floor. No wonder this was the smallest Moe’s burrito I’ve had in memory. Cold chips scooped out of another container on the floor after having completely forgotten to give us chips in the first place. Cashier who had to be reminded that we should pay for our food. Broke the credit card processing system while trying to pay. What a train wreck. Saw at least 2 other groups walk out bc the food options looked so unappetizing. Only positive is the cashier couldn’t figure out how to make our $20 in rewards only be $10 for this visit so at least it was cheap. And our kids ate free bc...
Read moreAlways ask for a receipt!!! I visited last week and the cashier rang me up but the total was not on the iPad. I put my card in and she walked away. I waited for her to come back and asked for a receipt. She looked a little annoyed but gave me my receipt and immediately walked away again. I see my total has a $3 tip included. I wave to get her attention and said ma’am my total is wrong. She went to the register and gave me $3 cash without me even telling her how much the tip was for. She said “$3 right?” I said yes. While I waited for my food I warned other guests. I decided to stay and eat and talk to the manager when I was done. They were so busy so I didn’t want to cause a scene or hold up the line. I ate, got back in line and then asked if the first lady was the manager. She said yes. I told her what happened but she didn’t look surprised or bothered. Told me thank you for letting her know. I was even more concerned at this point so I called corporate and had to leave a message but have not heard back so I will leave these reviews every day til I do. Read moreSo, I’d never in my life run into problems with a Moe’s until I came to this one. For the first few visits, the food was just fine, cooked well and we were also taken care of nicely. Fast forward to about two weeks ago, my boyfriend and I go to get food. We get there and the guy working there has no manners and makes our food incorrectly. I ask for extra meat because I guess he hadn’t heard me when I asked for it to be added into the burrito. I get the extra meat and it’s mostly just grease. So we pay and go home. We start eating, and quickly I notice something is off. Chicken is undercooked and the vegetables tasted rotten. I endes up sick and so did my boyfriend. I called to let them know what happened, and the general manager said she would write my name down and I would be compensated for this. Finally I’m able to stomach the thought of eating Moe’s again, so we go to get our meals, and the general manger had never written my name down or told the store manager. I live 30 minutes away, so it’s not always a convenient trip. Wasted gas and money. Really...
