UPDATE FROM MANAGER RESPONSE The response from the GM is laughable!! She continues to be dishonest as per her response to me below. We talked ONCE when I called to inquire about my belongings never heard back from her again. Lies, lies, and more lies. Funny a friend of mine left some expensive shoes in a hotel room after attending a wedding recently she called and wouldn’t ya know, they had them and mailed them back! WOW. THATS THE WAY THINGS SHOULD WORK, RIGHT? THAT IS HONESTY. Maybe I wouldn’t be so angry if the management and corporate would have offered some kind of acknowledgement and/ or compensation . Instead, they denied, denied, denied. It’s very easy to claim that the items weren’t found impossible to verify that, and she knows it. Not sure how Nikki can be so sure that she and her hotel staff is so honest especially considering the sketchy individual noted to be loitering in the lobby who was obviously known to the front desk staff. Her reassurance to me means absolutely nothing~ she proved to me from the get go that she was dishonest after she never bothered to contact me as promised after our first and ONLY conversation. Speaks volumes. Again, my fault for leaving the items, but that by no means suggests that they are fair game to whomever finds them. AGAIN, STAY AWAY IF YOU VALUE YOUR BELONGINGS. Nikki, you can write what you want in response to my update; I will not waste another second of my time reading it or commenting.
Hotel was clean and what one would expect for the price~ no frills. Had a decent experience up until I mistakenly left 2 items- a Lululemon bag and a Patagonia fleece in my room upon check out. I am 100% POSITIVE I left them in my room, as I brought them in and never wore them out of the hotel during my stay. Admittedly, this was on me; I own that. I have no reason to lie about leaving them there; I can afford to replace them. That said, it’s not finders keepers items left behind should not be a free for all though apparently thats the mentality of this hotels employees. After many phone calls and emails, they were not found per the GM, Nikki. Shocker. As a matter of fact, she never even returned my call after our first contact; claimed she did; I have no record of any such call, nor do I have a message.. She still hasn’t responded to my last email from a month ago. Guess my things just disappeared into thin air! Wow! How does that happen to 2 nice, rather expensive items you may ask? Answer= it doesn't. Corporate was of no help~ every time I emailed, I got a canned response from a different person; I was told only the hotel management could assist me. Well that was a joke. It’s blatantly clear that no one in this company cares about customer satisfaction. Complete and utter incompetency and dishonesty.
Had to give a least 1 star in order to post a review that is the only reason I gave it 1 should be a negative number. DON’T STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOU BELONGINGS. CONSUMERS HAVE CHOICES~ TAKE YOUR...

Read moreWe booked this hotel fairly late in the evening (10 pm) on a Friday Night because the other hotels that were in the area we were at the time were booked. We drove a little more than an hour from where we were to get there, and while I wasn't expecting much, we ultimately were very satisfied.
The first thing I noticed was that the person working the front desk was in a T-Shirt. While I would normally think that this was not very professional, I see it in this instance that they were wanting people coming in the feel comfortable and relaxed. We were upgraded to a bigger room at no charge, and I was thanked for being a Gold Elite member. Considering we were arriving at 11:15 at night, I asked for a late check-out, which we were granted to 1 pm the next day (though we didn't use it).
The room far exceeded our expectations considering we were traveling with a 3 year old. We were able to let her sleep on the fold out couch, which we were able to enjoy a nice King Sized bed. Very comfortable. The one thing I would mention as being a slight concern is that all of the television channels were analog on the HDTV, which makes the picture look bad and stretched.
The next morning, I found the Manager downstairs wearing a T-Shirt as well, and I had a good conversation with her concerning an issue that I was working through with another Holiday Inn Express we stayed out on the road trip. We didn't enjoy the breakfast, but it did look like standard fare.
All and all, the room was just what we needed, and it was comfortable. With that being said, if my travels were to take me back through the area, there would be a strong chance I would stay...
