My husband and I went to Blaze pizza because I need a gluten free option. The manager prepared my pizza separately on a gluten free crust with new ingredients from a small fridge. We were very impressed. My husbandâs simple pie was ready very quickly but it hardly had any cheese on it. There were two large places that had been dough âbubblesâ so there were no toppings or cheese on these places. It was not a good pizza and disappointing that about a fourth of it was those hard burst dough bubbles. When we picked up his simple pie when the guy called our name, he told us that my gluten free pizza takes twice as long and to listen for the name. We wanted to sit outside because it was so loud and crowded inside, but our pager had died and the guy said there was no way to get a new one assigned to the gluten free pizza and to stay close to listen for the name. So we sat inside for 30 minutes listening for our name. After 30 minutes, I went and found the manager in order to check on the status of the pizza. He couldnât believe it hadnât come out yet. He said he put it in the oven himself. He went and looked in both big ovens and said it wasnât there but that he was happy to make her a new one. He also offered me a brownie or cinnamon bread. I canât eat any of that because of my Celiac disease, so I declined and he gave me a free pizza coupon. He remade the pizza and it came out about 20 minutes later. It did not have the correct toppings, hardly any cheese, and toppings on only half of the pizza. We cut our losses and left. When we got home we realized that the coupon for the free pizza excludes gluten free crusts so thereâs no way for me to even use it. Maybe if we couldâve sat outside in the cool breeze and nice quiet atmosphere the hour we waited wouldnât have felt so miserable. Oh well. We will not ever...
Read moreitâs been five years since I last left a review for blaze and I figured it was time to post an update. Weâve been coming here with some regularity since they opened and always enjoy a good meal. We generally do build your own pizzas as there are food, allergies in the family, which can be accommodated. Weâve tried pretty much every crust style and topping that is available over the years and have never been disappointed with the food. In addition to the pizzas, we have enjoyed the breadsticks, garlic bread, and more recently the cinnamon bread. They have a good amount of indoor seating as well as several outdoor tables. if you sit outside and have the pages they gave you there is a mat on the table that you sent it on which helps them track where you are seated so they can bring you your pizza. The employees are generally quite friendly and accommodating. On this most recent visit we had one of our First real problems with them. I open the app and they had a listing to try their new cinnamon bread for only two dollars with any 11 inch pizza but at the register they said it only worked if you got one of the new specialty pizzas. They were unwilling to budge on this. I paid the full five dollars for the cinnamon bread because we wanted to try it and had already placed the order. It was really good, but it was disappointing that this company wasnât willing to stand by their ad the way it read. It really feels like false advertising to me. We will be back again in the future, but I will be much more careful with using their app, especially when it pertains any deals...
Read moreVisited yesterday on September 9th from 10-11 PM and upon arrival we were provided great service from the moment of ordering and to being served. I ordered a red vine pizza and it looked amazing but when looking closer there was piece of plastic in the center of my pizza that I had to take out of the way. And afterwards we decided to complete the âfree desertâ survey but when ordered online and after 10 minutes I went up to near the âpickup stationââ and asked the man packing food about the order that was under âJuanâ and he proceeded to say that âwe donât have that connected.â I ask what he means and he didnât say much but that we donât have that order. He asks someone else to come over to assist and he asks for proof of purchase and we showed them the online receipt that had the lake Buena vista location on it and time of purchase. They proceeded to just look at each other and not say much. The assisting man asked the employees at the front to make a cinnamon bread and one employee snapped with âARE YOU SERIOUSâ as they all looked at each other weirdly. The man I originally asked for help proceeded to make a gesture as he faced away from us towards the assisting man and he responded ânah nah nah donât do thatâ âdonât do thatâ I donât know what exactly he wasnât going to do but it made me and my bf completely uncomfortable towards them making our food at this point. After some waiting we decided it was best to tell them hold off on it and we leave the location. Weâve been to the location multiple times and had have no problems but this experience made...
