Brazilian Bowl — Restaurant in Lake View Township

UPDATED REVIEW: I have to say, I was disappointed with my most recent order of coxinhas and steak encebolado from Brazilian Bowl, which I've ordered many times before.

The coxinhas tasted the same as always, but the steak encebolado was not nearly as good as it used to be. The meat this time was dry, tough, and lacking in flavor. It also had quite a lot of fat and cartilage that hadn't been removed. This is a pretty big drop in quality compared to the past. In addition, when I placed my delivery order, I chose fries as my side (comes with either fries or salad). My order didn't come with a side at all.

Pretty disappointing experience and unfortunately I may not order again.

Such a great lunch option in Lakeview East! I've been here multiple times and the food is always fresh and tasty. I recommend the steak encebolado and the coxinha, but the regular chicken bowl is also delicious. Reminds me of the food I had in Brazil.

I rode a bus 27min to get there. I was barely greeted when I walked in. When I mentioned having a groupon from last year that was extended because of covid, the guy stiffened up and said that I would need to ask for a refund because they were no longer taking them. I told him I didn't understand since I'd already used half and knew groupon would likely not give me a refund, and he showed no sympathy or concern. Then he pointed me to a menu in case I still wanted to order. Bothered, but hungry and looking forward to the good food, I ordered. The dish was more expensive than the menu price. When I asked why he said it was an "old" menu and again offered no sympathy or concern. It felt like he was doing me a favor by letting me order and eat at his restaurant. I chose not to close my order or stay. It's unfortunate because I had good memories of the food from the first time I went. I visited long time ago Brazilian bowl in Lawrence and even though tasted good I didn’t go back. I was driving by Lakeview this time and decided to search for something healthy in the area and Brazilian bowl pop up. I got the steak bowl and my brother the chicken one and I most say I was very impress this time. Everything tasted so good and fresh, I ate that bowl like a hungry man that haven’t eat in 5 days lol. I will definitely go back again. There’s only 2 reasons why I didn’t give 5 stars to this place . First one was space, this location it’s very small, it wasn’t complete full but if it was definitely would have been uncomfortable. The other reason was the friendliness. Cashier seems to be either upset or tired. Now a day there’s way to many options for dinner, specially so go.
