As for the biryani the only dish I will speak about... after my mother’s biryani no one comes close to her biryani except for the biryani dish here at naan on Dewan.. yes it’s not your five star looking restaurant... it really is Diana style like it is overseas but the food made up for it for us... we enjoyed the biryani for me as I said it was the best drenched in flavorful ghee yummy yummy like I would only come here for biryani simple and delicious I have been looking for a biryani like this everywhere and this for me is the only place from New York to Illinois and other parts of out of the country where we were blessed to have the biryani I wanted my tastebuds to enjoy...thank you for the wonderful dishes..Mr.Sardar Adil was a pleasant server Im writing this entire review on his request well the food was deserving im back here again for the second time dodging all fine dining restaurants on my anniverdary day which should tell you about how magnetic the food here is to me? I usually don't do reviews at all but this one needs to be created! Firstly, this order reported themselves to be delivered way ahead of time but this was absolutely incorrect. I called in confusion, and the driver indicated he was still about 30 mins away. So, it was not delivered ahead of schedule. Second, when I received my order, several items were missing, and cold, and upon calling the restaurant they basically told me there's nothing he could do because he just arrived to work and didn't know anything about my order but I can ask for help on my next order (I'm stuck in Chicago overnight because flight delays/cancelation so this is not an option), and just hangs up the phone on me and doesn't pick back up when I call back. This is horrible customer service and very poorly thrown together food. If you served food and service like this in your traditional homes to your family and guests you would never be allowed to cook and have guests again so why do you treat those that are tired and weary from exhausted incomplete travels that are paying their hard earned money to keep your business open like this! Single star is because i can't go below that option. I wanted to order a food for a small party and i called them well in advance and inquired about the delivery option and the person picked up a phone agreed to deliver at the requested date and time. Previous day evening when i called to confirm the order a different person told that it can not be delivered because it is Sunday and he told me to come and collect. since i can not collect all of them alone i had to modify the order with whatever i can go pick up. With the limited time i had find another place that can deliver for remaining items. I called them the next morning and confirmed the time that i can pick up the order. I had to drive by leaving the guests at the party hall to pick up the order. The person at the counter said the order will take 30/45 more minutes and started sipping the coffee or something he was drinking without feeling sorry about my situation. I had to go find a different restaurant and buy whatever i was able to get eventually that ruined the party. I will never visit or recommend this...
