Shake Shack Wrigleyville — Restaurant in Lake View Township

I visited this establishment to pick up an order that I placed online. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with how I was treated and my burger. Upon entering the location I was searching for the pick up signage. Within 30 seconds a staff member yelled, "who are you?" I was startled and thought the staff member was speaking to another individual behind the counter. A few seconds later I realized where I needed to be and walked up to the counter where the staff member yelled the same sentence at me while looking me straight in the eyes. I said my name and was shocked in disbelief at the lack of hospitality and pure disrespect of talking to another human. I even apologized for not knowing where to go right away and they replied, "it's ok" and turned away. There were also no other customers waiting. Lastly, when I got home and opened my burger all of my lettuce for my lettuce wrap was wilted, dark, and smelled like it was days old. I am extremely disappointed with the overall service and hope it will be changed for other customers in the future. I love shake shack burgers but this one is a hit or miss.

Every time I’ve ordered a burger here for pickup during a slow time, I noticed they have several burgers and fries just sitting out, not even under a heat lamp.

The fastest time I received a burger was when I came in person less than 2 hours before closing time. I was the only person there. I saw no other orders on the screen, but saw two premade burgers sitting cold. I saw someone take a premade burger just sitting out replace the toppings and then hand it to me. Fries were soggy and cold too. Did not say anything at the time but who knows how long that was sitting there. It was cold as well.

Today, I ordered two burgers one with bacon and one shack burger. None of them had any toppings and the bacon burger had one sad piece of bacon in it. I paid extra for crispy onions that weren’t there. The cheese has melted into the cold bun.

Whether it’s busy or slow, it’ll always take a while for you to get your food. Other small business restaurants would give you your food faster than this fast food chain. But it’s only good when it’s busy because your food will be fresh. Thank god I have a microwave but for the price and claimed “quality” I...

I just placed an order with this place with Door Dash with my colleagues. Now they are kind of pricey for the servings they provide. They completely sent all the wrong items and when I contacted them pressed option #2 to speak with management, it was like an "Oh Well, Sorry but not Sorry" response from Management. He states to f/u with Door Dash but as I stated Door Dash did not prepare the order, Shake Shack did! He gave me info to contact them for a refund. As I stated I did not want a refund, I want my order prepared and delivered correctly! Now in today's critical time people do not have funds to pay for something they simply just did not order! It's just very unprofessional how management handled the situation. I will update my colleagues which is of a vast mass of people and informed them not to go to this particular location because management just does not care about their customers, so just imagine how the employees mentality is if their leader does not care.
