Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lake Zurich

I do not want to be a Karen but I write reviews when I’m upset or disappointed in service. I walked in at 830pm (closing is 10pm) they already put away all the toppings and ingredients. So, as I’m trying to tell them what I want from the ingredients not being displayed they poured a heavy amount of red sauce on my bowl. My bowl was swimming in sauce and I did not want to speak up at this point and cause an issue. In addition to this, I ordered a kids meal and they asked chips or fruit - I said chips but then they’re like no chips left…. But like can’t there be a kids bag opened to add kids size chips at 830 pm where the store has more customers coming in? Shouldn’t it be prepared and on hand. Not even close to closing where they aren’t providing proper service.

This is not a location thing but more corporate- but I had to down load the app to add a quesadilla order as I’m in line and that’s kind of rude to people behind me. Don’t know why I can’t just order an quesadilla while I’m there? And I wanted to add fajitas to my bowl but was told that’s an online order only?

Lastly, at the register they messed up the order and needed 2 people to help clear it but that took away from serving customers behind me and I already was holding the line with downloading the app but like the management is horrible here. I looked at other reviews and it’s definitely not me acting entitled this location is...

Somebody please teach these kids about portions and a positive attitude, I’ve ordered from this place twice and had the same issue twice, I won’t be trying again, I ordered a burrito bowl tonight and had my wife pick it up, I ordered a serving of chicken and a double serving of steak, brown rice, corn, fajita vegetables, cheese and lettuce. When my wife gave me the bowl I couldn’t believe how light it was, it was the lightest burrito bowl I’ve ever had and that’s in over a 15 years of eating at chipotle there wasn’t enough meat in the bowl to make 1 serving, not to mention everything else they skimped on, I took it back to the window and was told I had to work it out in the app or on the phone so I just left it there and drove away, this is why I have a love hate relationship with Lake Zurich, I think we have the worst fast food locations of all of lake...

I'm done ordering from this location. I've stopped here a handful of times to pickup lunch and twice now I've been given the wrong order. My receipt is on the bag but the bags contents is completely different from what I had ordered. Mind you, I order online so there is no excuse for miscommunication issues. The first time was whatever. I ate what they gave me. Today, I was basically given the polar opposite of my order. A completely different bowl drenched in sour cream which I find disgusting. I had to throw it out and choose to fast until dinner. Based on all the other reviews commenting on the subpar customer service, I didn't even bother driving back or calling to correct. I was on my lunch break and didn't have time with the back and forth. Must be a serious organization problem here. I'll just try my luck at the Barrington...
