WORST SERVICE IN MY 20 + YEARS AS A CUSTOMER. LAKEWOOD RESIDENT! This used to be the best location in Lakewood,CA store 5650. You have Chick-fila, target and the Lakewood Center mall nearby . This store is no longer provides good customer service or product. I went to the drive thru this morning at 11:10 am with my daughter in-law , I was greeted by Angel. I was ready to place my regular order Venti Iced brown shaken espresso with oat milk , and vanilla sweet cold foam in small cup for extra ice. Angel asked me to hold and returned to tell me no we canât do it . Order the drink with cold foam on top or you cannot order it. We have a new policy. I asked when and why couldnât I order this is there anyone that can explain this to me ? LIZZY came on the speaker and was very loud and aggressive. She said â you cannot order the drink with vanilla sweet cream foam on the side because our new policy . I heard her out then when I was going to explain to her I ordered my drink the way I ordered it now a week ago and I had no problems. (Union station location serves corporate employees) She cut me off and was rude , I asked her to not be rude and let me finish talking please. She said âyou cannot order or it and you cannot order here anymore leave the drive through now , if you donât leave Iâm calling securityâ. I told her call the sheriffs if you like there was nothing done here but you not able to discuss this new policy. I requested store number and names to report to corporate. Angel complied. My car has audio and video recording. This employee didnât want to have a conversation and it was clear she is used to treating people this way! Being in food and beverage with an aggressive behavior is unacceptable!!! Unfortunately, I have time today . I have reported this incident to corporate management. I have advised them this employee needs training , coaching and discipline for the escalation. I hope no one ever gets turned down for requesting a drink that is customized and paid for. Money wasnât an issue ! Time and inconvenience is a problem. I went to another Starbucks and had zero problems.I have spend 20 -15 dollars daily since 2001 and have enjoyed my...

After receiving a free reusable cup email in my inbox, I headed to the Starbucks on South/Woodruff, only to find they were out of reusable cups. Planning to go to Jimmy John's for lunch, I decided Plan B would be the adjacent Starbucks to Jimmy John's on Candlewood, in my pursuit for that elusive reusable cup.
If memory serves me correctly, the building that this Starbucks used to occupy was the former home of a McDonald's. Imagine a similar layout, complete with drive-thru. After perusing the holiday drinks, knowing I didn't want a pumpkin spice latte, I decided upon a caramel brulee latte (easy sweet).
The caramel brulee latte was a nice sweet, holiday indulgence. I try hard to avoid sugary sweetened drinks, so I tried to do damage control and asked for only 1 pump (easy sweet). That was sweet enough for me!
Service was okay. I didn't wait long for my drink to be ready. Although, the cashier whom I ordered from forgot to give me my free reusable cup, to which she quickly remedied. A good amount of seating for studying and whatnot. Present is also the aforementioned drive thru.
Starbucks is located on the left of Chick-Fil-A, across Candlewood from the Lakewood Center.
Free reusable cup and a warm holiday treat - that's a win! While I'm not a fan of Starbucks' hot coffee, they do excel in the sugary dessert drink department. The service was speedy & efficient, which I can't rightfully say for other Starbucks locations. It's good to know this Starbucks has their coffee game down pat, and I can come here to quickly have my drink and go about my business.

Read moreHorrible customer service. I recently got the Starbucks app because my family and I spend aleast 200 bucks a week at Starbucks. We're a big family. So I got the app and on the offers it gave me a coupon that gives me 50% off a drink and it said I can on the app I can tell the barista if I would like to apply it. So my family and I arrive, my mom ordered first and asked about the coupon and about the app. And the worker, instead of showing us, is like, you need a QR code. Very sarcasticly and just straight up rude. And the worker repeated it a good few times, instead of showing us or helping us. Literally my mom was showing her the phone and she was just repeating the same thing, again very sarcasticly, demeaningly, and loudly. And my mom showed it, and the worker said, " yeah that's how you do it". Or something like that. And I ordered next and I asked about the coupon, again very rudely, saying I need to show the QR code, when the coupon on the app doesn't not have a QR code. I payed for my drink and got my receipt. My mom asked for the woman's name, not only did she lie about her name being on the receipt, but also I believe she lied about her name, because my mom asked another worker and they gave an entirely different name. The other workers there were rude too because my mom had asked another worker there what the name of the girl was and they were like quickly and unclearly giving the woman's name. Horrible experience. I went home still thinking about it. This isn't the first time they've given horrible customer service...
