2025: Still a hidden gem. Get in here and enjoy. They serve up delicious food every time, whether breakfast comfort foods or ramen. 2024: Hidden gem, don't pass it up! It's really easy to walk up Queen St and think it's a quaint dinner and keep walking past. You're right, it is quaint, but don't walk past! They've got food all day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They're a diner, so you can get your cheap comfort foods, and they're a Korean eatery so you can get ramen, kimchi, fried rice, dumplings and more. We've lived in the city for 8 years and only just went- should have come sooner.

Hands down the best breakfast food anywhere I’ve ever been in my entire life. The consistency alone is mind blowing. I’ve been here 3 separate times already and every single time I’m blown away by the quality and taste. They have one cook here and I can only describe her as an absolute goddess. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Every single plate of food I’ve witnessed this establishment serve to anyone looks diaBOLically delicious. 🤤🤤🤤 ♾️A+♾️

I saw this place was recommended online as a hidden gem for Korean food. I got the chicken bulgogi which comes with four sides as pictured and a bowl of steamed white rice. The bulgogi has onions, mushrooms, and a few carrots in it, and it lies on cabbage. The chicken was very dry, and the veggies were okay. I may come back to give them another shot, but I was disappointed after reading such great reviews.

I've been eating at Onions Cafe for years now, and I am prepared to leave a review. It's simple - perfect.

While there is no similar Korean restaurant near here, I am familiar with Korean food.

Half the menu is American oriented (and excellent), but the other half is the special half... super delicious and scrumptious Korean dishes that are authentic.

The fried rice dishes will satisfy any local but one has to dive into the other dishes to truly enjoy. The job chey is to die for, and hearty! My vote for best dish (beef).

But, the bowls are also excellent- they are large and hot! Yummy hot!

It's a funky old school atmosphere, but it works. If you want good American food or REAL good...

To the guy who gave a one star review complaining about a price increase even after going there many times. Quite an ignorant comment without knowing how really hard it is to operate a restaurant during covid and current staff shortages. Either way, the prices are still below and/or fair for the foods.

But really? After many visits posting a negative review? You really dont look at the good parts of life can you. Where's the support?

Looking at your other reviews, really shows that you're cheap and dont see businesses as...
