It all started with not being able to place an online order; which no fault of this establishment, however, having to call it in was a bit difficult. First called to ask of they experienced any issues with online orders. I'm thinking I was able to speak to the manager. If not, he was very helpful for that moment. He took the time to check the site and saw no issues. Great! I continued to have ordering issues and asked if I could just call it in when ready. Yes, he says and ask for 1 of the 2 names he gave me. Great...I'll do that. Thought I'd try something and any other order was calculating on the online site. Just not what I wanted. I ended up changing it to something else and everything was going great until I reached the checkout. Put in my CC info and my subscription discount code and couldn't go to actually Pay! Got out..tried again 3 times. Same result. Fine...I'll call in what I really want. Called, asked for 1 of the 2 names previously given. The lady said ok. Then, asked who is the order for. I gave the name. She said hold on. 🤔 She came back to the phone and I asked can I give her my order. YES! Gave it to her told her about the code. She said give when you arrive. Ok. Good. Thank you.
Husband gets there, calls to inform he's arrived for curbside. Told them he has a code. The lady questioned if he was military. He said no. But I have a code. He showed her the code from his phone. Tell me why this woman grabs his phone and walks off to the restaurant 😲 Who does that??? Anywho, got my food and it was colder than it should've been and the white roll...NOT Luby's standards At ALL. Hard and dry. Knocked on the table. Totally threw it away. I hated that!

I must give a 1-star rating to the food, not because of its taste, but due to concerns about its temperature safety. Throughout my visit, I observed that the food was not maintained at safe temperature levels, which is a significant issue for any establishment serving meals.
On a more positive note, I'm inclined to give a 3-star rating to the service. Despite the food-related concerns, I found the employees to be receptive and professional. Their attentiveness and willingness to address my concerns were commendable.
However, I have to give another 1-star rating to the atmosphere. During my visit, I was dismayed to find four roaches directly on the food line. This is deeply concerning for any restaurant, and it significantly impacted my dining experience. When I brought this issue to the manager's attention, I was informed that they had recently fumigated the premises. However, this explanation did little to alleviate my concerns, especially considering the active presence of roaches.
As for the specific dish I ordered, the chicken fries chicken, it was served cold. This further highlights the issues with food temperature maintenance. Thankfully, I was promptly refunded for this subpar dish. Additionally, my son and daughter chose not to order anything due to the unsanitary conditions they witnessed.

Service though…geez…it’s embarrassing. I ordered two family meals online. I arrived 40 minutes later and was told they didn’t have two of the items I ordered. So I chose some replacements then spent the next 45 minutes standing/sitting around waiting for my “new” order. Them not having 2 items apparently meant they just wouldn’t prepare any of my order. Did it not occur to anyone that maybe they should’ve, I dunno, CALLED ME to let me know so things could’ve been worked out before my arrival? Obviously not cause no one called me prior to arrival. Or even better…I REALLY WANTED to call in the order instead of order online, but I wasn’t able to do so because I was stuck on hold for 10 minutes with zero human interaction. I only placed the order online because NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. Icing on the cake was me sitting there for 45 minutes watching staff answer the phone. 🤦♂️
