I won't elaborate too much on this fast food/fast casual restaurant since for the most part, if you've been to one Chipotle, you've been to them all. I don't know what the exact number is but I'd like to think that my family and I have been to this Chipotle ~25 times since we moved to Las Vegas back in 2014. Bottom line, there've been good visits, and there've been horrible visits...yet, one thing still remains, the quality of the food has not "drastically" changed throughout the years; only the service and atmosphere.
I've tried a lot of their entrées, but I still find myself going to the all trustworthy Asada and Chicken Bowl (double meat) - my family also enjoys the bowls along with the tacos. More often than not, we'll purchase the chips/salsa with our main meal, and although it may not be classified as the most authentic chips and salsa in Mexican cuisine, it's still good to have once in a while.
The prices have been going up but that's expected with inflation and such. As mentioned earlier, the service can be hit or miss, but the majority of the time, it's respectable. One thing I've noticed about this restaurant (maybe it's common within the franchise), is that you don't typically see familiar faces (employees) for long. It seems that people decide to only work here for 3 months or so and then they find another place for employment. That's not necessarily a bad thing for the employees; however, for the restaurant itself, it can be difficult to gain continuity in their operations when you're having to constantly train and deal with new faces often. Oh well, as long as I get my stinkin' Asada Bowl, it doesn't really bother me...just an observation.
Overall, I recommend this restaurant to everyone. It's not perfect...and you'll get those bad visits once in a great while, but it's rare these days to experience flawless service from fast food/fast casual places during...
Read moreHands down the WORST experience I have ever had. I cannot believe how staff here treated me!! I ordered online, for pickup went inside at the time it stated 7:20, let them know I had an online order and provided my name. They were a little busy so I waited patiently, I know how hectic the food industry may be. I heard them call out my name (Anna) I walked up to the counter and told them I am Anna and they called out my name. The girl at the counter said it wasn't ready yet so although they called out my order I waited again. I WAITED FOR AN HOUR. I went up again to the desk to tell them hey, I've been here for an hour do you have an update on my order which then they questioned if I ordered at the right location which I did. Showed the girl at the counter my phone to provide the proof she needed. That's when they realized they gave my order to a door dasher, a scrawny white girl comes up form the back which later I found out her name was Kiley. She yells that if its a door dash order they will not be making it which then I reply it was NOT a door dash order. She then YELLS AT ME for not checking people's order to see if they took mine?!! This girl SHOULD NOT BE WORKING HERE. I have a ton of experience with the food industry I would never speak to anyone the way she spoke (yelled) at me when I waited an hour and she was the one to hand my order to a door dasher this clearly was not my fault. While waiting even longer for them to remake the order Kiley and another staff member were talking shit about me in the back very loudly, something along the lines of they better check to make sure they got the right order I wish I got the other girls name, but she was a young skinny, short African American female. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE. I will be taking this to corporate, something...
Read moreFirst let me say that I love eating at Chipotle. It’s a great place to get good quality food and lots of it.
That being said, this location is the absolute worst chipotle I have ever been to. I have been here a few times and each time I have had the same experience.
The workers are so disorganized, and disrespectful to each other right in front of customers.
The last straw was when I finally made it to the front of the line and while trying to order, the young person next to the person I was trying to talk to started YELLING for food that needed to be replaced. She specifically waited for me to start talking, so I waited, and when she finished I tried to talk again and she started yelling again.
They take so long because every employee keeps leaving the line to go to the back for something. They need more people to help because they were woefully unprepared and understaffed, or just plane incompetent, Especially the manager, who is far to young and emotionally unstable to run a restaurant.
The food I was also very concerned about. I watched as they put as little as possible into the bowl. Other locations load up the bowl, with large amounts of food. This location grabs 3 pieces of fajita, one by one and adds it to the bowl. The meat was barely enough to even be called a burrito bowl. The cheese queso was the most disturbing. They had run out so the metal container and ladle were covered in cold stale cheese that had been sitting for hours. The worker brought out a new container of cheese queso but put that stale ladle with hours old cheese right into the new one! I won’t be going back to this location again. That is really disappointing because it’s the closest location for me. I think the manager needs to be fired...
