Grimaldi's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Las Vegas

My family and I first tried this restaurant ~8 years ago and I remember how wonderful that visit was. I've been wanting to return for another experience but obviously failed to do so throughout the years; however, the dream became a reality on 7 Jul 2024 because we finally returned for an evening dinner. When we walked in the restaurant, it wasn't busy at all so we got seated right away without making a reservation. The irony behind the recent visit is that we sat down at the same table as we did from our first visit - definitely wasn't planned that way, but a remarkable coincidence regardless.

It didn't take us long to place our order because everything on the menu was streamlined and it helped that we had an excellent server (Amanda) to effectively answer a few of my questions. Speaking of our server...Amanda did such an amazing job that evening; she was extremely attentive and friendly/personable. I would even say that all of the employees I've talked to were outstanding...from the hostess to the manager on shift (I think he was the manager). Speaking of the "manager," he demonstrated an extraordinary level of customer service and quality workmanship. Here's why...

We ordered a Large Caesar Salad and two different pizzas. One pizza was half Prosciutto Arugula and half Build Your Own (Ham, Mushrooms, and Jalapenos). The second pizza was a Traditional Pizza with Mushrooms. Everything was cooked/prepared to perfection and I was instantly reminded why this restaurant was so memorable. Be that as it may, going back to the manager...the big thing that stood out from him was that he visited our table and mentioned he was going to remake my pizza. I was a little taken back because I thought my pizza looked great. He mentioned that he wasn't satisfied with the overall quality of the pizza that had been produced and pointed out the "mistake." He stated that we can keep the pizza that was made and he was going to make an entire pizza for us regardless. I wish I could've identified his name but given the date and time (~7:00 pm) of our visit, I'm sure the restaurant can easily identify who was on shift that evening. These kinds of traits are rare these days; to have an employee take the initiative to identify a flaw/issue before a customer mentions it, speaks millions of this person's character and business practice.

The prices were very reasonable. I also have the utmost respect for this restaurant for their continuous support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! I don't venture to a lot of pizza restaurants but whenever I have the urge to enjoy some quality pizzas, it's comforting to know I have this restaurant accessible to me. I'm just glad it's not located right by my house or else I'd be in trouble (health-wise). I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone - definitely...

I recently had the pleasure of discovering Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Las Vegas, thanks to a visit to Opportunity Village and their amazing Halloween Christmas tree display. Let me start by saying that I have traveled extensively, trying pizzas across the country, and without a doubt, Grimaldi's has stolen my heart with their exceptional white sauce pizza.

When it comes to their white sauce pizza, Grimaldi's truly proves why they are a cut above the rest. The moment I took my first bite, I was transported to a pizza lover's paradise. The delicate balance between the creamy, indulgent white sauce and the rich, flavorful toppings was a revelation. The pizza crust, with its perfect blend of chewiness and crispness, provided the ideal foundation for this culinary masterpiece. We love Grimaldi's pizza, we order from them almost every week. Unfortunately this location is constantly making their pizza smaller than what their menu stated. It has happened so often it is to the point that it appears they are doing it on purpose. I ordered an 18 inch pizza on Monday around 11:50 am. When I arrived to pick up our pizza, it appeared to be small. I complained to our server(Alexis)at the time. We asked for a price change or for them to remake the pizza. She said she would have them remake the order and she disappeared. Another girl took the small pizza back. We waited for another 20 minutes. We went back in and the girl rang the pizza up cheaper for some reason. I checked the size and noticed it was the same exact pizza we complained about. They never remade it and had us wait for 20 minutes for nothing on purpose. Right after ringing us up the girl immediately disappear again without even offering any peppers, plates, or napkins. I had to wait again to get those items from another runner. Alexis had a real sour attitude toward us throughout this entire experience. As if we were some huge inconvenience for even complaining about the size that they failed to make right the first time and are now trying to scam us on. Be sure to bring a tape measure and be ready to be surprised at how small your "large" pizza is
