Actually love the pizza, but have been having difficulty lately in getting what we want when we order. Three orders ago, the delivery was over an hour later than planned. I called in and was offered some brownies for the inconvenience. Two orders ago, we were disappointed in the amount of toppings on the Works pizza. Obviously, not the end of the world, but here's why I'm writing today. On our last order, we ordered the same as usual, but added extra ham, pepperoni and sausage for a 6:00 pm delivery. When we opened the box, it was extra ham, pepperoni and sausage and nothing else. No Works. So I decided to call in on the issue. I mentioned the past couple orders haven't been what we had come to expect, and while we weren't looking for anything, just wanted them to know to fix things so we could get back to the usual experience. The person I was speaking to put a female on the line to listen to my concerns. She offered to remake a pizza and have it delivered to us or a free similar pizza next time, just call in for it. We didn't want to wait for another pizza that evening, so we took up the offer of a free medium pizza next time. Just call in and it will be taken care of. And so today, I make the call. And yes, as you may have guessed, no note of my problem. As Justin, the manager, told me, there is no record of me ordering a pizza that evening. No note of any problem. And, in fact, any female that I would have spoken with did not have the authority to offer me a free pizza. Well, that surely makes it look like I am trying to take advantage of getting a free pizza on Hungry Howie's, now doesn't it? Justin told me how many pizzas I had ordered from there. Just to be clear here, Justin is wrong. In fact, I have three free pizzas available to redeem right now based on my app orders. So let's do the math. 10 points for a pizza ordered and when you hit 60 points you get a free one. Quick math would say that I have ordered over 18 pizzas, of which he has no idea. I'm not sure why my phone app would show the information and yet he can't find it at his store. You see, I don't need a free pizza. But apparently, Justin felt I was trying to take advantage of Hungry Howie's, when all I was trying to do was inform them that on three consecutive orders we weren't getting what we usually receive. I'm sure he thought he made the right decision. And for those of you still reading, I did order a pizza from them tonight. I paid for it. Again, I wasn't looking for a freebie. But if we ever figure out who the female was that took my call about 6:15- 6:30 pm on Tuesday July 4th........well, that might solve some unanswered questions for Justin. Again, I like the pizza, usually, I just wanted to inform them of what a customer has experienced. Hopefully, it gets...
Read moreI have previously purchased the large Hungry Howie's special pizza with a standard crust several times twice this week. This is our favorite pizza because it has plenty of delicious toppings that are very tasty. We like the butter and cheese flavored crust. I have previously purchased pizzas from Little Caesar's, Papa John's, Domino's, Metro Pizza, and Rossati's. My wife and I agree that Hungry Howie's makes the best pizza in Centennial Hills in northwest Las Vegas. We will continue to exclusively buy our pizza here. In addition, the employees are friendly and provide excellent service. Ken
I would like to give a big shout-out to Dillon B for the excellent customer service that he provides. He remembers my name, Ken, and the large Howie Special pizza, with butter and cheese crust, that I always order before I place my order. He is always personable and friendly, with a smile on his face, every time he is working when I visit. I order a delicious pizza once or twice a week, every week, from Hungry Howie's. I look forward to each visit. Ken
On 12-16-2024, I bought my usual Howie's Special large pizza that I buy at least once and sometimes twice per week. Caine P, an employee who has been at Hungry Howie's pizza for more than three years, served me during the last 3 weeks. He remembers my name and the kind of pizza that I order with the butter and cheese flavored crust. He asks me if I want the usual, knowing what I always order. He is very personable and friendly, a great employee.
Both Caine P and Dillon B are outstanding employees at Hungry Howie's Centennial Hills location at Durango and El Capitan. I enjoy being served by either one of them every week. Three cheers for both...
Read moreI used to love this place but it has really gone down hill. Customer service is non existent. Waiting 15 mins for a pizza to be told it would be out in a second then watch them go make it is a bit ridiculous. Should just be honest from the beginning. When asking for a manager the poor employee who is by herself and clearly very new said that she was the manager and no one else would be here. I asked for a refund because I only have a 30 minute break and she had no idea what to do. She had to call someone and still was not communicating what was happening just leaving me to sit there. She said a manager would call me. Someone named Patrick called me claiming to be the owner (who knows) He proceeded to tell me that pizzas only take 6 minutes and she was going to make it (the order had already been in for 15 mins) but I stopped her from doing that and I should have known she was calling to ask for help with a refund. How would I know if she didn’t say that. There was zero communication other than the lie of my pizza “would be out in a second” I felt bad for the girl but also myself who has now wasted 20 min of my 30 min break and have no food or refund. Patrick (if he is in fact the owner) should be ashamed of himself for calling me on my cell and arguing with me when he was not even present. Patrick should be ashamed that his business is ok leaving a young girl, who is new, by herself on a holiday nonetheless. This store is...
