Recently, my wife and I decided to switch up our lunch routine and landed at Rachel's Kitchen, nestled at 7010 N Durango Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89149. The moment we stepped in, the clean, spacious interior, adorned with simple seating and warm color tones, offered us a warm welcome. It's that kind of place where the atmosphere alone sets the stage for a promising meal.
The service? Stellar. Friendly and swift, the staff worked like a well-oiled machine, ensuring our lunch was seamless and enjoyable. It’s rare to see such cohesive teamwork in action.
On to the main event: the food. This time, I ventured beyond my usual BLT with Avocado and went for the Turkey Avocado sandwich, a delightful twist on my standard pick, especially recommended on their Sourdough. Each bite reaffirmed my choice, blending quality with taste in a way only Rachel's Kitchen seems to master.
Now, let's talk value. Despite the shadow of inflation looming over many dining experiences, Rachel's Kitchen manages to offer fair pricing for what you receive. I walked away full and satisfied, testament to the meal's worth.
Reflecting on my visits, which happen every two to four weeks, it's clear there's no single dish claiming the title of 'signature' at Rachel's Kitchen. Yet, that variety means there's likely a favorite waiting for every palate. A small suggestion from a frequent diner: a zero sugar fountain drink option could complement their already refreshing unsweetened ice tea nicely.

Read moreDespite reading through the reviews I decided to give this place a shot. I took the cashier suggestion once the machines turned off and I could hear ( might be a part of the issue) and tried the Pesto pasta. Excellent pasta way beyond my expectations! Food was served very quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. I love that there were paintings from artists on the walls, great show of support for the community. Simple spot. The staff was friendly, informative and patient with my indecisiveness, which was a suprise considering what the other reviews stated. These guys got very busy, the blender was non-stop which is my only complaint and I did witness a few older ladies impatiently waiting looking sour. What people don't realize is ( after I tasted the quality of the pasta this became more resounding) is that this is NOT fast food - yes there is a walk up counter. They give you a number, you leave your dirty dishes and they clean up after you- just like a standard restaurant where we as humans naturally tip- which I went back and made sure to do after I was satisfied and realized this was the case. Fresh smoothies, juices from scratch, made in front of you. Wish the plates weren't plastic and the napkins were linen because I used way too many . but I guess that's a personal preference. I will be back to try salad etc. I work very close down the street so this is convenient for me. I think I will enjoy the patio for less noise next time when...
Read moreFirst time trying Rachel's Kitchen. This is more of a healthy restaurant and with that, this place is really really pricey. $$$ I got the Albacore Tuna sandwich with a side of French fries along with the Hawaiian bliss smoothie. I enjoyed my food however the sandwich tasted like any other Tuna sandwich, it had arugula, tomatoes and mayo.. The smoothie was refreshing and very appealing. It was not too sweet nor was it bitter. I would recommend trying it. Their sandwiches ranges from $11-$13. I paid $11.50 for the Tuna sandwich and $8.00 for a 24oz smoothie. My husband paid $12.00 for the 440 Sandwhich. It came with a real thin slice of grilled chicken, a huge slice of a red bell pepper, Avocado and lettuce. The red bell pepper was bigger than the slice of chicken which was disappointing but I guess it makes sense considering it is supposed to be a healthy place but still.. for $12.00?? Their menu has a variety of options between Breakfast foods, Pastas, Salads, Sandwiches, burgers, fruits, smoothies. Then to drink, they have many options of Juices they can make and different types of Coffee as well. They also sell cookies, 1-3 options. Customer service was great, very welcoming and polite. However it did get crowded and busy. Not a place I would constantly go to considering the price of everything and their food is pretty average but their smoothies are good to have once...
