To the Store Manager at Raising Cane's (Decatur and Charleston),
I'm writing to bring to your attention a concerning incident that occurred during my recent visit. The cashier, an African-American male, approximately 6'2", appeared to be unwell with a runny nose. I observed him picking or rubbing his nose, then rubbing his hands together without properly washing them. When he attempted to hand me a cup for my fountain drink after taking my order, I politely asked him to wash his hands before handling any food or customer items.
The cashier seemed upset and smacked his lips, but I believe my request was reasonable given the circumstances. As a customer, I expect proper sanitation and hygiene practices to be followed, especially when handling food and drinks.
I understand that accidents can happen, but this incident highlights the importance of retraining staff on proper hygiene practices and customer interaction. Your prompt attention to this matter would be appreciated, ensuring that customers can enjoy their meals with confidence in the cleanliness and safety of the food handling process.
Sincerely, The...
Read moreToday is my birthday, and when asked what I wanted to eat, I told my husband raising canes. We both have our own club cards, however I had my husband's and mine was left at home. The customer service representative Crystal said, hey the card is probably your husband's. We were like oh ok no problem and handed her a 100.00 bill to cover the food. She then goes in the back, which we assume is to break the bill, instead she brings the manager Julia over, and Julia, not only honored the birthday club combo, she went above and beyond and asked are you a fan of canes, and I explained to her about my husband's wish to grant me whatever I wanted to eat, obviously it was canes. The manager gave me a tshirt and 2 gift cards for free combo. This gesture was so amazing, that I began to cry. The reason is, one God is good, 2, there are still good people in this world, and 3, you never know what someone is going through, and small gestures like this, can impact a person's life greatly. So if I could give 10, 100 stars I would. Fan for life, well yall just ensured it. Thank you and happy...
Read moreI don't hand 5 stars out to anyone and secondly, let me just say that I'm not hard to please. That said, I do have a level of expectation with these things factoring cost divided into quality of food and customer service. So with that said, the food was cooked fresh and not just sitting under lamp food warmers. The food wasn't thrown into the container haphazardly and I didn't get an attitude from the servers. Since I went through the drive-thru, my standards are higher and harder to please. Ask yourself this; how much of an inconvenience are you willing to put up with a meal that costs $20 per person and the food is cold, half-cooked, looks like it was put into a blender and then dumped into a container, and then on top of all of that, you were given the wrong order and now you have to go inside to address an issue that shouldn't be. So yes, there is a factored reason for my high ratings. I am speaking only for this CANE'S location at Charleston & Decatur. They receive a 5...
