It's been a while since I've been here getting sidetracked by KFC and other tasty fast food options in the interim.
This is my closest Raising Cane's and the one at which I joined the Caniac Club and subsequently got a free box combo along with my membership card for doing so.
If I have to pay full price for chicken fingers/tenders (no coupons or specials available), then Raising Cane's is my preferred choice for overall flavor, portion size and the included side dishes. The chicken fingers/tenders are both larger, juicer and cooked to a higher state of perfection than the notably smaller variety being sold at PDQ.
On the other hand, PDQ does have a variety of tasty chicken sandwich options available in addition to its chicken tenders or nuggets while Raising Cane's is pretty much exclusively a chicken fingers establishment.
This is why I usually purchase most of my chicken fingers/tenders at Raising Cane's while my go-to location for truly tastebud-stimulating, deluxe chicken sandwiches is PDQ.
Since PDQ does regularly have 2 for 1 coupons available for their sandwiches and combo meals throughout the year, they do get a fair amount of my business whenever such a 50% off option is available.
Coupons are few and far between at Raising Cane's.
Note that PDQ also will give you a completely free combo meal of your choice (not just a 2 for 1!) on your birthday while Raising Cane's will send you a buy-one-get-one-free box combo offer on the anniversary of you Caniac...

On Decatur and the 215 there's a girl that works there behind the counter very young what a sweetheart I was a dollar short for there caniac box this young woman went to the back got her credit card swiped it and paid for my meal ...I had a really bad day.. God rewards people that do good things and this young woman will be rewarded every single time she smiles ... She helped this old woman from the kindness of her heart I truly will never forget the kindness from this young person her parents should be very very proud of her to have so much heart and goodness inside... this company should be very appreciated for her experience and generosity ....to her parents you did a great job I could have only been so lucky to be the person that walked up to the counter and have this young woman show so much kindness.. she deserves a raise a pat on the back from her manager and the store owner .. this young woman's smile to every customer is priceless to this establishment ..to every customer that comes in the door a true angel works behind the counter...I don't know how I got so lucky to have that employee care so much thank you. I will never eat at another canes other than that one for the rest of my life living here in Vegas that's how much I had a great experience into the young lady girl thank you...
Read moreI must admit, Canes has been a great place to go to. There's always a nice atmosphere from teens to adults hanging out and the service has never been an issue. But as of my recent visit, I feel it's starting to decline. For one thing, the atmosphere at 6051 N Decatur Blvd wasn't as big as it usually is and we went in at dinner time. Their sauce containers are even smaller. They give you enough for about 2-4 dips of chicken. Next they are limiting their ketchup supply handouts. I asked for some ketchup for an order of 4 and they only gave me 4. I asked for more, but I was told they're restricting it to 1 per order and since I ordered 4 orders, I get 4 packets. I mean I guess, but that's pretty disappointing. Lastly, I had ordered myself the chicken sandwich. The chicken tenders were somewhat dry this time around. Usually it's soft and tender, but I feel I got a bad batch. Can't speak for overall, but my recent visit wasn't 5-Star worthy. I'm hoping it was just a simple mistake and service gets better next visit, but that's how I feel now. I need to compare with another Cane's place. Thank you for reading this....
