It's good as after 2am or 3am tacos, or else I would not consider it. Taco Truck Open 247, Cash and Debit Card taken. Near Fremont Street/DTLV but not walkable, or at least safely. $3.25 tacos, $10.50 burritos. Only taco joint open after 3am in the area. The price, and quality isn't up to my standard but it's definitely decent for Vegas DTLV or Eastside 24 hours. We take what we can get. Drive through is very efficient with 2 lanes. Walk up window is in between the drive thru and taco truck.
We've been twice in a roll. First night at 3amish for drunk food, then 9pmish for late dinner to actually recall the experience. $3.25 tacos. (No carnitas here, only al pastor). Buche was cold, and some room temperature warm. $4.75 for lengua and tripa tacos. Lengua was okay and I can reorder it. Tripa was fried and okay too. $10.95 burritos. Comes with rice, beans, cheese and sour cream. +$4-$5 extra if you want half half meat on a burrito. SO got tripa and al pastor. Al pastor was fatty. Red and green sauces, and onion/ciltrano garnishes. Red sauce is orange and not the typical red sauce I'm used to. The double tortillas are generic and felt like microwaved warmed....no bueno for me. The SO is down to order his burrito again but with only 1 protein next time.
We will most likely go back since it's the only place open after 3am in miles and miles, or nearby DTLV. You can stand, or drive thru, or pick up for takeout. Most Vegas taco places specialize in birra vs carnitas in LA. It's been difficult to find decent tacos in non-North...
Read moreSo I'm reviewing this in the POV of 3 people: my wife, my wife's mom, and myself.
So for my wife, she got 4 tacos de pastor, she said they were good, but afterward when she got done eating, she got very nauseous and nearly puked in the car. Other than that, like I said, she stated they were good.
My Wife's mom ate 2 tacos de Cabeza and 2 de Lengua, she said the same thing, they tasted really good but after being done she also got nauseous almost threw up in her car and she actually got a rash on the right side of her face and throat, to point out she's never had that kind of reaction to those kinds of tacos before.
For me I had the Torta de Jamon Caliente, it was GIGANTIC really delicious and didn't affect me badly in any way shape or form, the drinks we had were Habiscus waters(Agua de Jamaica) and that too was delicious, the service was great, very warm and friendly. For the parking, I will say it was a terrible location to change too. There wasn't much space, if any at all. There was HEAVY homeless foot traffic. To eat, you either had to be in your car with the A/C or outside burning up dealing with the people asking you for money. In conclusion, the food for me was good, but the location could have definitely...
Read moreAll the time whenever is Wendy the manager or whatever is it, I can't order my torta cubana without salchicha and lettuce, and that is something only 3 people does all the time this, and after all and been waiting for almost 20 min long line, they laughed because I can't order my food the way I want, really? Been order the same all the time, but sides these people have been moving to this place. They are acting like they don't care about the service. I don't ask for more meat or less price, I just want to eat whatever I want, I'll pay for it. It's not free. And the worst part is the actitud of them laughing because obviously we are disappointed. Please put attention on the personal, I know this place side years ago, and never have this type of problem, they want me eat whatever they want, and actually the last time I have the same discussion about it they give me the torta with extra salchicha and lettuce, plus a piece of nail inside of the torta. And that was really disgusting, and it took me longer time to come back and find them same people, and after I figured out they were going to do the same, I better leave with out buy nothing. Not even the tacos and mulitas we buy after this...
