Quick review: The hotel is fine. The room was clean. The beds were ok. I stayed in the tall "Gold Spike" building part on the 6th floor. The room itself was 2 queen-size beds and a TV. No mini-fridge. At night the sound from the street and Fremont Experience was noticeable. There is a kind of constant pronounced thrum of Fremont that is hard to ignore. I did speak to other hotel guests in the elevators and the one comment that always came up was noise. Someone on a lower floor said it felt like they were in the nightclub (mentioned later). All the hotels I looked at in the area have issues with noise so this was expected. The room came with 4 sets of earplugs. I just put my phone on a "10-hour white noise" playlist. The shower had plenty of hot water and the water pressure was good. The pool area isn't huge but it is big enough that you aren't on top of other people using it. There were plenty of poolside towels so you don't need to bring one from your room. The staff was super nice and hospitable. There is a 7-11 and Walgreens nearby for quick travel needs and a small offering of snack stuff to buy in the check-in area plus free coffee. I even used the fitness center, which was exactly what you'd expect for a hotel this size. I will say that the carpet on that floor of the hotel (floor 2) is super old-looking and appears insanely dirty. None of the other floors had that carpet. The weird part of the experience was the nightclub. Apparently, this hotel used to have casino games but no longer does. Now the lobby is a "nightclub." There is also a large outdoor space with activities that is part of the nightclub at night. The entrance for the Gold Spike portion of the hotel is by the bar of the nightclub. So, when the nightclub part is open to get to your room you are sent to the elevator which is being guarded by a guy and a rope. This isn't a huge deal but feels weird. Also, I received a text inviting me to club from the hotel but it really didn't feel inviting. They verbally encouraged us to go straight to the elevators when we entered the hotel and straight out when we were leaving. I get that as a middle-aged guy I'm not the target audience for this space but I probably would have grabbed a drink in the evening. Another thing was I was given a card that said the bar was open 24/7 and I was entitled to a discount with my room key. In my experience, the bar frequently had the chairs up on the bar and no one was manning the bar in the mornings. The one time we tried to get a drink and try out the automated darts game they had there wasn't even a bartender expected until 10 am and they called out sick by noon so we had wasted a couple of hours waiting around. We weren't looking to party hard but it also felt like "Why have this if you're not really offering it?" It was probably just a blip. Overall, my stay was fine. I would consider staying here again for another short trip.

I was excited for my stay at this property, given its prime location and affiliation with the DTP group. Upon arrival, I was a bit early, but the front desk staff was welcoming and got me checked in without issue. I was assigned a room in the Gold Spike section, which I knew had some nostalgic Vegas charm, but the interior felt dated and worn. While I understand the vintage appeal they’re aiming for, the building shouldn’t feel tired. As you make your way to the room, you pass by a beautiful pool area, then through a courtyard that hosts outdoor events. I could see how this space would be great with a large crowd. However, entering the building from the back at 2 p.m. felt strange—like stepping into an old strip club. This is the night club/bar area, but it had more of a dive bar vibe, which felt off for what’s essentially the lobby. Once in the room, I noticed a strong smell of smoke. I called the front desk (beware there are no phones in the rooms), and though they reassured me the rooms were non-smoking, the response lacked concern or a solution. I later realized the smell came from the AC unit, as the odor intensified whenever it was on. It seems the ACs need servicing or replacement. I ended up buying a car air freshener to place near the vents, which helped mitigate the issue. The room itself was nice, with a very comfortable bed, but it’s minimally furnished, so you’ll be living out of your suitcase. It works fine for a solo traveler, but might not be ideal for two or more people. The bathroom is small and feels old-fashioned, and if you’re traveling for business, the desk area is more vanity than workspace. The staff was great overall, except for the lackluster response to the room odor. The section of the hotel I stayed in requires you to go through the nightclub to enter or exit, but showing your room key lets you skip the club line, which is a nice perk in the evenings. In summary, the location is excellent, offering easy access to Fremont Street without the chaos right outside your door. The pool area is impressive, and the staff was generally helpful. I might stay here again, but I’d opt for a King room by the pool next time.

We loved staying here so much. What a wonderful discovery for our first time stay in the Fremont District! I love boutique style hotels that have so much more charm and character to them and considering the expected big-hotel costs, this place is a steal. We decided to "spurge" with the King Suite and I think my photo of the room says it all! So spacious and chic. There is definitely some wear/age to it seen in the floors but it's nicely decorated, the king bed was super comfortable and the AC was a reliable workhorse (very important for a mid-August stay!!). Notable mentions: -Book directly through the hotel and you can probably get a discount code. I normally book through booking . com but found out I could get like 20% off direct. -Free parking. The main lot is really small and open to the public but the hotel has a deal with the city to allow guests free parking either in the main one of across the street. Most of the time we were able to park in the front but once the weekend came, the other lot was there for us. -Comfortable beds and massive shower/bedroom in the suite. I would 100% stay in the suite again -Such a walkable location! The #1 thing everyone mentioned about why they prefer The Fremont over the strip is how walkable it is. You don't need to waste money on ubers to get everywhere and can walk to food options (like the fun Container Park!) or the main drag of Fremont right from this hotel. -The Gold Spike is right next door for some cheap drinks during HH (plus a hotel guest special of what's on draft for something silly cheap like $3 - Truly was one of the options when we went). We didn't end up going to the night club but heard it was chill and a great vibe. -The hotel sends you lots of communications through text throughout the stay. If you write a review while there, they will comp you a late checkout -The pool is so nice. I loved the chaises in the shallow end. There are lots of games out back but not really a happening place in the heat of summer. I would love to come back during nice weather. I think its safe to say this will always be our choice of where to stay when in Vegas. Highly recommend!

Genuinely the worst experience I've ever had with a hotel. I've been to around 50+-ish hotels, and this one stands out. Checked in originally around 3pm, they warn that "hey there's also a nightclub later in the day."

It's 3pm, myself and my group go out and enjoy the city, come back around 11-11:30 to play a couple of the adult lawn games they offer. We walk into the building with the clothes we've had on ALL day. Everything is cool. I ask elevator security if we can go to the "adult lounge" to play some of those games like the large bean bags. They say "That's fine, just walk around to the building from the other entrance so you can get your IDs checked" (keep in mind they checked out IDs at 3 when we checked in).

Cool, shrug it off and walk around the building with my group and our IDs and get a drink or two with my group. We get to the front and try to enter, "yeah so instead of shorts y'all need to be wearing jeans or khakis."

Okay, fine. Annoying that the security dude who was heavily directing us from the elevator to go outside the hotel to make sure we checked in the "club with ID," (after by being forced to show OD at check-in) can't just tell us the shorts are bad in the first place, but that's fine, it happens.

We go back through the laps to get to the room, my group is done because of the long day. I go down to the front desk to get an extra towel before sleeping, get walked down there by the elevator security, and I do complain a bit, "Hey just tell the elevator guy to let us know what we can and can't wear. No issues with the clothes but having to go out and around the building to play the games and bring made to let know we didn't have the clothes in the first place sucks." He shrugs. Cool, I get to the front door, relay my experience thus far and get my towel. I was offered a drink ticket for the poor experience, said thanks and left.

Now I have a $10 drink ticket, and I know they don't always have a bartender in the morning so I go to redeem it now. I go back upstairs and change out of the shorts I was wearing, come back down the elevator, meet the elevator security again, and have security walk me from the elevator for third time to the front door.

Security says "hey so you're wearing something on your head, and you need to take it off before walking in here". That's fine, no issues. I take it off and throw it in my pocket. Response: "No, we need you to put that in your room and then come back down before entering." I've worn this all day with no issues, including from the first 2 times I was ushered from elevator security out the building and looped around the club. I ask if I can just redeem the drink ticket I was given, and just be directed back up to my room, and offer for them to walk me to the bar. I don't need to hang out here at this point. The club(?) is not busy at all, with only 2-3 people at the bar right now. It's around Friday night around 12:15-12:30 at this point and I just want the drink I was offered and to head back up to my room. "No you still need to put that in the room first."

Alright, cool. Wish elevator security or the outside security could've told me that the first 2x I was here, but okay. Outside security walks me for the third time back to my room, I vocalize that wish just saying hey I don't mind the dress code but why do I have to go through security 6x at this point to finally be told this. I'm told by security "hey man I'm not asking much from you and I don't need you to be a problem like you are right now."

Great. They walk me for the 3rd time back to the elevator. I've been telling you that I don't have an issue with the clothing requirements, just in the way it's been delivered to me with walking through elevator security 3x and outside security 3x and all I'd like to do is redeem this drink ticket I was offered and go back to my room.

End up putting it my room, go through outside and elevator security for the 4th time. Obviously they know me by now, I've been here 4x in the last hour and a half. "Show ID again and stand here."

Ive stayed at Oasis 15+ times 3 were infuriating. I book through Expedia, so my reviews arent posted on Google. I'm in Vegas regularly and Oasis is the best price and most convenient safe parking and a bed to crash in. This is typically the case at Oasis. Unfortunately the 3 negative instances were far too egregious to not be addressed. First was a situation that at check in I was asked if there were any other people checking in with me. I said no. At this point she simply could have seen my previous stays. Instead she asked me a second time if I would be expecting anybody else. Same answer. She wrote my parking pass and for the third time she asked if I was staying alone. She assigned me a room on the third floor next to a storage closet with a window overlooking the access road for the dumpsters. The facility had plenty of rooms overlooking the pool which is typically where I’m assigned. Having stayed here multiple times I know that rooms with the blinds open about 25% are not occupied. To a frequent traveler this behavior felt targeted and disturbingly judgmental. The second instance was again being assigned a room in the furthest possible location with a view of the same dumpster alley. This time I returned to the lobby to ask if I had said or done something to be placed in the room even though the facility was again clearly less than half full. She immediately accused me of verbally attacking her, which was ridiculously untrue. If the woman I spoke to did happen to be the manager her behavior was so beyond unprofessional she should never be allowed to speak with customers if they have questions. I simply turned around and went back to my room. The last instance (3/13/25). There were multiple employees in the lobby and one guest in line finishing up their check in. I got in line as I have always done and was told I need to check in at the kiosk. This was the first time I was ever told this. I attempted to use the kiosk as instructed but since my reservation was through Expedia there must have been an issue because Brian then attempted the kiosk as well, but said we would need to check me at the counter. Other than my having to request a parking pass which ever other time is offered, the check in was uneventful. This week I was assigned room 229 which was unmarked, down the furthest hallway, next to a storage closet, the and again overlooking “dumpster alley”. I then took a few minutes to look around to see how full the facility was before returning to the lobby. Again, multiple empty rooms were apparent on every floor overlooking the pool. When I entered the lobby there were 5 people working, and no guests checking in. I began to ask the gentleman his name, and before I got the words “pardon, may I ask your name…” a female employee literally got within inches of my face to tell me she was in charge. I responded to her by saying “I happily leave a review after each stay, and simply wanted to know his name”. She immediately backed off, but it became obvious they “knew” they were going to see me again from which my guess would be they knew the room assignment was clearly going to be a problem. Again, the behavior of the woman in charge was deplorable. I barely said one sentence and she was immediately escalating a situation of which she had no idea whatsoever. This is entirely unacceptable in a position of management. Again, Ive stayed at Oasis at least 15 times, and all but 3 have been wonderful, unfortunately these negative experiences all followed the same theme. A single white male staying for one night alone. The behavior I received and rooms I were assigned seemed targeted and at worst racist. Any attempt to discuss my concerns were IMMEDIATELY met with aggression. I have mentioned this in my Expedia reviews, but since I’ve never heard from management. I truly feel the behavior I received was at best based on inaccurate judgement, and at worst simply racist, and should definitely be addressed with management. Good luck with your...
