I went during happy hour today, and there weren't many people there. I also was not greeted upon entry, nor after I sat at a table in the bar area. So, I went to the bar, where I had to move three times before I could find a clean spot. Eventually, the bartender asked me if I wanted a drink. While fixing my drink, he dropped an orange on the counter and then still put it in my drink! Luckily, I saw him and reminded him that one of the pieces of fruit had fallen on the counter. After giving me a cold stare, he immediately fixed me another drink that he spilled all the way to the counter and all over the counter. Amazingly, it was still full. Since it was one server for the entire bar area, he shuffled between the actual bar and the seated patrons. He fixed drinks, rang up orders, counted cash, collected credit cards, emptied boxes, put away glasses, texted on his cell phone, carried out food, chatted with co-workers, and then put fruit in drinks with his bare hands. One would think that the restaurant would require him to use tongs for the fruit, since he is touching all of these surfaces. My food was good, but expensive, and I wasn't given any silverware. There oven was also broken, so there were many items on the menu that patrons could not order. In addition, the beer battered pork ribs are no longer on the happy hour menu, and they no longer come with fries. The bartender told me that fries were $3, but I was charged $4.15 on my bill. The ribs were nearly $15. I also learned that I could taste as many of the beers as I like because BJs brews all of their beers. I recommend Berry Blast which is listed as a cider; it tastes like Moscato wine. I really enjoyed trying it, and it only has 3% alcohol. I tried Jeremiah Red, which tasted more like beer, but not as strong. It was also served in a crack glass. Then, I tried a third, Moon something that tasted like champagne. Though I had to flag the bartender down each time I had a question or needed something, he pleasantly provided it. When I asked for my check, I wasn't given a pen. The vibe of BJs has definitely changed since its original opening, and I would not say that it is a good one.

March 17, 2019, I ordered through Grubhub at 655pm w/ETA 7:32 to 7:45pm Food arrived at 8:07pm. Im righting this re view at 8:15pm. I first get a call from Grubhub saying my order that I paid for, was not received nor prepared. I ordered the 5 meat pizza. It has toppings missing from about 1/3 of the pizza. Dominoes pizza is made better and much cheaper. And the pizza was no longer hot at delivery, rather cool to the touch. I also ordered 2 sparkling raseberry lemonades with no ice. Both cups are filled with ice and neither drink is sparkling Its just a large cup mostly with ice, some lemonade and at the bottom of the cup is a light colored rasberry syrup. Again no sparkling added. The spaghetti with meat- balls looks extremely dry. l'll have to prepare and add my own sauce. The spaghetti was supposef to feed 4 people, and had only 8 meatballs and about 2lbs of thin angel hair spaghetti. At $70+ dollars including a 20 % tip , tax and delivery fee . I expect better food and drinks from BJs. Honestly, I deserve a full refund. All the food was wasted bc it was so bad, no one wanted to eat.

The service was amazing. CC (Courtney) was very nice and attentive. I was looking forward to the crispy calamari because it was perfect the last time I had it at this restaurant. This time is was not very crispy and the pieces were much thicker than the last time. The Cherry Chipotle Salmon was delicious. The asparagus was great with the white cheddar mashed potatoes, very well seasoned. The Southern Comfort Chicken Sandwich was also pretty good. The fries were amazing. The monkey bread pizookie was tasty but the presentation was terrible. There was nothing to pull apart, as small pieces of shriveled up bread were thrown into the container, already separated. Overall, it was an average experience. I've definitely had better food here before and hopefully next time will be better than this time. The atmosphere was casual. We had a lot of privacy in a booth but there was also a bar for more casual diners. There was a college football game on and everyone was into it. It was a nice vibe.

I have had the most horrible experiences with this place. First, on Super Bowl night I placed an order through the app. I go to pick up my pizza and get home and the order was wrong. I ordered a half/half pizza and one of the halves was incorrect. I called them to tell them it was incorrect and they wouldn’t believe me. They made me drive all the way back to show them the pizza. This means instead of them starting on making a new one as i drive back (20 min drive for me, I had to drive back and then wait for them to make me a new pizza. Sure enough my pizza was wrong and they made me a new one. I waited there for 35 min. No apologies were ever given. They looked at the the pizza, said yep it’s incorrect, took it back and told me I had to wait. You would think after having to drive there, drive home, drive back again and home again and having to wait 35 min for a new pizza that somebody, anybody, esp a manager would apologize to me and even offer something for their mistake. NOTHING! The customer service is just extremely poor. Fast forward about a month later my husband and I decided to give them another try and again we ordered a half/half pizza. I ordered it through the app again. My husband usually like the chicken and ranch but doesn’t eat pork so I wrote in to make it without pork. The app doesn’t provide enough space for wording so as soon as I placed my order I called in and spoke to a lady and told her that I just placed an order that I wanted to clarify because it might be confusing as the app doesn’t allow many characters to explain it properly. I explained to her my husbands preference and she acknowledged it and said she would make note of it so I left my house and drove to BJs. I arrive there 20 min later and just as I pulled into the curbside and was about to call in to let them know I arrived for my order, I get a phone call from a different lady at BJs saying that they couldn’t understand the preference I entered in the app. I replied with, “I called 20 min ago and spoke to someone to clarify this already.” I didn’t get an “oh I’m sorry, can you please tell us again.” I got an “uh ok. So what is the preference?” Extremely rude! And of course I ended up waiting there for 20 min since they JUST started making the pizza as I arrived. After this second experience I was livid. I sent a message to their corporate and the next day I received a call from the restaurant general manager. I was at work and was in a meeting with a patient so I could not answer the call. I returned the call the next day as the manager left me his cell phone number. It went to voicemail and I left a message and it has been weeks and I still have not had a return call from the General manager. This whole situation still stings and has never been resolved and I’m really disappointed because I genuinely enjoy the food! But I will never return because of the awful service and the horrible...

This past Saturday evening I accompanied my dance team to this BJ’s restaurant and was extremely disappointed. We have been coming for 3 years straight as a fun tradition after our annual nearby dance competition, and our tradition will be coming to an end. We came as a group of 7 girls and our parents, with our reservation planned multiple weeks in advance. We looked forward to coming to BJ’s for such a long time, and we were extremely let down. Our reservation was messed up and we ended up having to sit completely separated from the parents, on opposite ends of the restaurant. We arrived at 6:30pm and we didn’t have any server approach us at all until after 7, and we didn’t receive our drinks until almost 7:30. No refills were offered to us, our menus weren’t taken away, and our server didn’t ask how we were doing even once. One of the two appetizers we ordered came out at around 7:45, the other one seemingly forgotten never came out and we ended up receiving it in a to go box at the end of our visit hours later. Our parents had fairly good service, and they were finishing their entrees at the time we received our drinks. Since we had been dancing all day long, we arrived to BJ’s starving and ready to eat. Im sure you can see how waiting an hour for a drink and two hours for food was not what we had in mind. A huge group of children behind our table consistently ran around and bumped into our seats, and we (along with our parents) were aggressively reprimanded numerous times by the host for “walking in her zone” when we weren’t even close to her. When our food did come out around 8:30, there will multiple problems, like chicken missing from salads, undercooked burgers, sides missing from meals, and meatballs missing from pasta. With help from the manager, we ended up receiving all the missing things from our meals, except my missing meatball. I never received my meatball in my spaghetti, which was $1.50 extra, despite multiple promises from employees. When we finally got all of our food, at around 8:30, all of it was mediocre and dry. We had been looking forward to enjoying pizookies for dessert, but ended up having to leave before dessert because of how long our visit had taken. We ended up leaving around 9:15, which was way later than we intended to leave considering we had to wake up extremely early for the competition the next morning. In summary, my team and our parents had a terrible time at this establishment and will have to find a new fun place to...
