I don't know if it's new management, but I went back to have what I ordered before and things were not what I expected. I purposely went out of the way to come to this place because of such a great experience prior to this one. First, there was a lot of cross contamination. The workers were handling the register, trays, and pretty much everything with the same gloves they handled the food. When I say "handled the food" I mean touching the taco salad shells, quesadillas and everything else without changing gloves or washing their hands. Everything seemed disorganized and they had the quesadillas on the thing used to toast the taco shells and crunch wraps for over the time needed to cook. They were pilling taco wraps on tops of what was already being cooked so it was not completely toasted. Also, the portion difference was noticeable. I paid over 16.00 for a single burrito that was $13.00. I ask the reason and was told that the small dab, and I mean dab of guacamole that I was given was the difference. Tge amount of guacamole was less than what Chipotle serves. I actually would have gotten more from Chipotle for less. This experience was completely opposite from my first visit. Lastly, the workers could barely speak English and though they were not mean, they were not friendly either. I think it was because of the language barrier. I want you to understand that I didn't come during a busy time. I came on a Sunday at about 6:30pm. There were not many people there. I did inform the person that served me to change her gloves and she did. I also took a look at the ingredients and did not feel very confident that I would be happy, but I tried because I liked their food before. I don't think I will come back and I'm sad about it because I truly had a wonderful experience prior to this. I'm giving two stars because of my experience prior to this one. This establishment is family friendly, which really paid a great part to...

I had the absolute pleasure of attending the grand opening of Guacado Mexican Grill in Laurel, MD, and I’m still thinking about the experience! From the moment I walked in, the energy was vibrant, the décor was colorful and inviting, and the aroma of fresh, authentic Mexican cuisine filled the air.
But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the outstanding customer service—especially from Arslan. He was the heart of hospitality that day! Arslan went above and beyond to make every guest feel welcomed and appreciated. He handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and a level of attentiveness that’s rare to find. Whether it was answering questions, guiding us through the menu, or checking in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, Arslan was exceptional.
Guacado Mexican Grill is off to an amazing start, and if this grand opening is any indication, it’s going to become a local favorite in no time. Delicious food, lively atmosphere, and customer service that truly stands out—what more could you ask for? Don’t...
Read moreI went to Guacado yesterday not knowing jalapeños was gone. I was disappointed in the food quality, service, and price. When I got home and ate my Taco salad, it was extremely salty ground beef and the toppings didn’t help dilute the level of sodium. I also go a streak bowl. It tasted good but in order to warm it later I put all the cold toppings on the side. The young man serving me attempted to give me a 1 oz soufflé cup to provide each topping . Considering the size of the bowl. What is a 1 oz of each topping supposed to do for my meal. When I informed him of this he went on to tell me it would be an additional charge. I got it anyway trying to support but was a bit shocked when the bill was $56.01 for two $11.00 meals and three drinks. Just because I got a regular portion size of my toppings. I don’t recommend Guacado’s! I will definitely not...
