Nestled in the heart of the city of Laurel, this Sardi's Peruvian Restaurant is a culinary haven that transports diners to the vibrant streets of Peru with each tantalizing bite. From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted by the rich aroma of spices and the warm hospitality of the staff. The menu is a celebration of Peruvian cuisine, offering a diverse selection of traditional dishes infused with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. Whether you're indulging in the savory richness of lomo saltado or savoring the delicate balance of ceviche, each dish is a masterpiece in its own right. What truly sets Sardi's apart is its unwavering commitment to authenticity. The chefs draw inspiration from Peru's rich culinary heritage, crafting each dish with care and attention to detail. From the perfectly seasoned anticuchos to the crispy perfection of the papa a la huancaina, every bite is a testament to the restaurant's dedication to quality. But Sardi's isn't just about the food—it's about the experience. The vibrant atmosphere, complete with colorful decor and lively music, creates an ambiance that's as inviting as it is lively. Whether you're enjoying a romantic dinner for two or gathering with friends for a night out, Sardi's provides the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Overall, Sardi's Peruvian Restaurant is a culinary gem that should not be missed. With its exquisite cuisine, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional service, it's the perfect destination for anyone craving a taste of Peru's rich culinary heritage.

This was our second visit to Sardi's with the first being to the Beltsville location. The restaurant is located in a newer shopping center vs. the old Pizza Hut building in Beltsville. The Laurel location is less crowded at lunch than Beltsville, but there was never a break in the ordering line while we were there. We learned about Sardi's from a friend who eats there on a very frequent basis. The food is excellent and the prices are moderate (about $10 to $20 per person), but the portion sizes are large. The restaurant has a variety of selections, but my advice is to stick with the Peruvian chicken especially if it is your first visit. I recommend the Churrasco de Pollo priced at $14. It's a charbroiled chicken breast with two sides. We've sampled the french fries, vegetables and coleslaw which were all very good. The fried yucca, however, was very bland in my opinion while the over-sized Peruvian corn was okay. You get three pre-packaged sauces with your order which are very good. The yellow (amarillo) is the least spicy while the green (verde) and red (roja) are spicier. We're already looking forward to our next visit to the Laurel location.

The food was good, and the lady at the register was very kind. But the young man that made my plate was rude. I could barely hear him respond to me with the plexiglass between us, so when I asked about a quesadilla and he responded with 25 minute wait, and then put my plate down and proceeded to take his break before ensuring he had the other components of my order, I knew I would likely not return. Then to make it worst, after I get all my items and walk towards the door with my son, he is walking out as well so I Hold the door for him and he walks out, never looks at me, and ignores me when I tell him “you’re welcome”. I will not return from the sheer treatment by this rude guy. Maybe there was a language disconnect, but he understood me just fine when I told him i wasn’t going to wait 25 minutes so I don’t think it was that. It was my first time and although the food was good, his service left a sour taste in my mouth. If you don’t care about customer service, def go here for a good meal. But for the whole package, choose another spot.

Flavorful Perfection at Sardi’s Pollo A La Brasa – Laurel, MD

As a frequent visitor, Sardi’s Pollo A La Brasa in Laurel, Maryland consistently delivers a crave-worthy, comforting dining experience. It’s the kind of spot where you know you’re going to walk away with a truly satisfying meal and a smile.

What makes it special Signature rotisserie chicken: The Pollo a la Brasa is perfectly seasoned, juicy inside, with a glossy, flavorful crust on the outside. Each bite carries a savory depth that keeps me coming back for more. Tastefully crafted sides: Classic sides like yuca, plantains, arroz, and seasoned vegetables complement the main dish beautifully, offering a well-rounded, comforting meal. Friendly, attentive service: The staff are welcoming and efficient, ready with recommendations, and happy to accommodate special requests or spice preferences. They make you feel like a valued guest. Casual, family-friendly vibe: The restaurant presents a warm, approachable atmosphere—great for a quick family dinner, a casual meal with friends, or a relaxed lunch break. Value and portions: Generous servings that leave you satisfied, often with leftovers to enjoy later, all at a fair price for the quality.

Signature favorites I recommend The whole roasted chicken or half chicken with your choice of sides for a hearty, shareable feast. Classic sides like tostones or yucca with a flavorful dipping sauce for an extra pop of flavor. A refreshing bebida or tropical-inspired drink to complete the meal.

Ambience and experience Comfortable and welcoming: The dining area is clean, well-lit, and comfortable, making it easy to savor your meal at a relaxed pace. Great for everyday meals or celebrations: Whether you’re fueling a weekday dinner or celebrating a special occasion, the cozy environment fits any mood.

Practical tips Consider sharing a family-style meal if you’re dining with friends or family; it’s a great way to sample more flavors. If you love spice, ask for recommended heat levels or house-made sauces to customize your dish. Check for daily specials or rotating sides to keep the menu exciting on repeat visits. Arrive a little early or plan for a quick-to-go option if you’re on a tight schedule.

Bottom line Sardi’s Pollo A La Brasa in Laurel, Maryland is a standout choice for comforting, flavorful Latin-leaning rotisserie dishes. With juicy, well-seasoned chicken, tasty sides, and welcoming service, it’s a reliable spot for family dinners, casual meals with friends, or a satisfying solo lunch. Highly recommended for anyone craving bold, flavorful, well-executed...

Do not order from the Laurel store!!!! Made two orders for pick at 9:05 today Sunday 07/25/2021 via the phone and I was told to be at the store in 20mins. Got my food, made payment and headed to shoppers to get some tylenol (I was in and out). Settled down in the car with my friend so I could eat, take my medication and be on our way out of Laurel only to discover there were no fork, spoon, knife or even napkins in the bag. Since we were right next to this store, we decided to go back and get spoons. It was 9:45pm at this point so the store was closed, some employees were cleaning and I beckoned to them to explain through the glass what was going on, one of them pointed to the back like he was going to get some spoons and left. I was there for another fifteen minutes waiting outside since the door was closed without anyone handing over the spoons to me, I had to start banging on the door but the employees(about six of them ) were laughing at me instead of just giving me the spoons so I could be on my way. A guy who I think is the manager came out after waiting another ten minutes to inform me that they close at 9:30pm and that the spoons had been packed away, even after explaining to him that I just came by to pick my order and they didn’t put spoons in my order or even napkins(how am I expected to eat the food I bought from your store if I am not provided with spoons). This man kept repeating to me that the store closes at 9:30pm but when he realized that I wasn’t going anywhere without the spoons, he angrily grabbed two spoons (oh! they were right behind him all along), rudely gave them to me and slammed the door on my face. Jesus!!! all I wanted was a spoon to eat so I could take a medication for my migraine, the employees in this store made sure to further trigger what I had going on. Thank you Sardis Laurel but I will not be returning...
