Earlier this evening I placed an order online for curbside pickup, it said it would be ready at 7:05. I sat in the curbside parking spot for 35 minutes waiting for someone to answer the phone. I called 14 times and it would just ring, until it eventually stopped and went to busy dial tone. I went to the door to see that the dining room was closed due to 2 fryers being down. Which is fine and I’m okay with because stuff happens. The issue I had was when I got out of my car and stood in the car line I waiting an additional 35 minutes. Soon 2 others got out of their car to join me also. I made eye contact with the person at the window so I know they seen us standing there. After getting fed up waiting in the carline, I walked to the door to see 4 employees standing there on their phone at the cashier register. As soon as they seen us walk around, they scattered to the back and didn’t come back around. The biggest issue I had was the poor communication and lack of respect from the employees. After just asking for a refund, it was like it was a huge deal. I waited over a hour before getting answers. If this establishment is going to have a phone, at least educate your employees how to actually answer or hang the phone up properly so new calls can come in. Trust me I’ll be calling tomorrow also...
Read moreI was driving through the area and had to use the restroom. Decided to get a side of fries and 2 drinks to go. Literally waited TWENTY minutes for fries. If I had thought I could have gotten a refund any quicker I would have. Saw a cook behind the counter, on the line, filling orders on his cell phone. Employees looked like they pulled their clothes out of a dirty hamper and got dressed in the dark. I'm sorry .... I'm not trying to be personally rude but when you work with food and you have a uniform, you should be expected to look clean and uniform well maintained. Not shirts half buttoned and half tucked with skin tight pants. We were in the area because my Mom is looking to move near Lake Hartwell. Read moreThere's always good food here, but today instead of filling the ice machine they had a big container behind the counter to do it for you. Not sure why, they have two ice machines, surely they're not both out of order? It's an inconvenience when they're busy taking orders and you need to refill your beverage and need more ice. I had unsweetened iced tea, which is always kept at room temperature so you always need a full cup of ice with each refill. Another thing, they need to filter their water better, it's starting to have that gross "dirt" taste to it again. None of the other restaurants that also get their water from Lake Hartwell still have that horrible taste to it anymore. I could really taste it in the tea, maybe more so being it was...
