Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Lawrence

Updating from previous 2 star review. Now 5 stars! I was given a call quickly from their manager Abby (sp) who offered me a free any size drink and she apologized for the breakfast sandwich fiasco and even informed me that she would talk to her staff. Everything seems fixed to me and I got a mocha latte for free. Thanks Scooters for thr coffee! ..................

So this is a sad review...because I actually really like their COFFEE. which is why they get 2 stars. But I ordered a ham cheese breakfast sandwich and it was super cold almost frozen in the middle. I swung back around and they said they'd pop it back in the microwave for me (ew no, I want a fresh one that I didn't just bite into and that sounds like a health code violation). So I asked them to make a new one. Well they made a whole different sandwich than the one I ordered so now I had a hot sandwich but it was bacon egg on a biscuit which I did NOT want. I did try it though because I didn't want to bother them again since they seemingly can't do breakfast sandwiches right...and it was hard and crunchy. Hot yes...but hard and crunchy. Not like a tasty crunchy bacon mind you, I'm talking crunchy bread. It was awful. So I had spent 5 bucks on this breakfast sandwich that they messed up twice on. I was too upset to swing back over and ask for a refund. This review will...

I've been going here once or twice a week for four years-- each time spending $20. Every time I ordered, I got a drink that takes two syrups (white chocolate and raspberry). They told me today that they are discontinuing one of the syrups because they don't sell enough of it. This is strange to me, as syrup has a really long shelf-life and costs like $10/bottle. The baristas were mad about it, I was mad about it, the only person who seemed at-ease with this decision was the GM.

I'm disappointed I wasn't considered a valued customer after all these years and have decided to find a new coffee shop that will value my business. One that is closer to home and treats it's employees and customers better.

Hopefully the ownership of this store tanks soon, so new people with better customer service and employee relations...

This is the best scooters in LFK. Not sure if we have any others actually but that’s probably because I’ve never thought of going to any other one. I made a mistake, I sent my friend to pick up a drink for me and he misunderstood and ordered the wrong one. I called because you have no idea how yummy their White Chocolate Mocha Blended is. It’s literally heaven and I literally look so forward to it every few weeks lol. Anyhow my friend accidentally ordered the wrong thing (which again not scooters fault it was ours) and the amazing employees at scooters made me a new one on them. I will always be a scooters customer. This just made my weekend for real. And the drinks you make literally make me so happy!!! Y’all are godsend to the local community. Thanks...
