On 6/4/24 shortly after 8 a.m. (they didn't give me a receipt, so I don't know the exact time, just that I left where I drove from half a mile away at 8:03 am). I ordered a coffee, a smoothie, a croissant breakfast sandwich, and a bagel sandwich from the lobby counter. Coffee and smoothie came out after about 7-8 minutes along with a sandwich that was NOT what we ordered. 10 or so minutes later, I asked if the correct sandwiches were done. The employee looked stunned, grabbed two sandwiches off the drive-thru counter and handed them to me. I checked to make sure they were the right sandwiches (since they had already given me the wrong one). They were the right sandwiches...but both were smashed. The croissant was so smashed that the bottom layer can't even be seen from the side (see picture). The bagel clearly had finger indents in it (see picture).
When I said "Thanks, these sandwiches are smashed" and started to walk out of the store, Sage (see other employee names below) said "What do you expect, we're teenagers." The one that wouldn't give me her name (see below) said "We can make you another one." I didn't wait for another sandwich and told them I had an appointment (I had already been waiting a significant amount of time, my sandwiches had been done for who knows how long, and they had already tampered with my food).
I don't care if employees are teenagers. They are being paid to do a job, they are working in the customer service industry, and they are tampering with food products that are being served to customers which is ground for their food handlers permits being revoked, should I choose to report them to the Department of Health.
I asked for their names and said I was going to notify the Manager. The employees were Sage, Macey, and a third employee who said "I refuse to give you my name," when I asked for their names to give when I talked to the manager. Worst experience ever, go...
Read moreHonestly, Beans and Brews itself is great and the coffee delicious. I'm rating this location and more specifically one of the employees 1 star, (0 stars if I could). The short haired blonde who looks between 18 and 20 but acts like a 2 year old. She always has a really bad attitude and an angry red face everytime I go there. She's miserable and makes the customers miserable and she makes the employer she works for look really bad because she represents them as an employee. She never is nice and she never fills up my drink to the top. I pay for a large and get a medium in a large cup. I've seen some other reviews on here referring to the same blonde short haired women and I know it's the same one simply because her attitude is so bad and negative. I stopped going to this location for that reason. I now go to the one on antelope drive, so much better. they are very kind and welcoming and they actually give you the size drink you paid for. My only hope for this review is, that Beans and brews a great company, see this and go and teach or train that one horrible employee lessons on profesilism , anger management and what it means to be an employee? Treat customers with kindness and respect and represent the company and yourself in a good way because people notice and they write reviews about you. OH, and karma is a real thing little girl, what you...
Read moreWe stopped by here on 08/23/25 between 6:30-7:00pm for coffee before our drive back to Idaho. Ordered 3 drinks through the drive thru. First sign of trouble was the employee asking if we wanted the breve latte made with drip coffee. Second was the number of times we had to correct the drink orders. We were ordering from the menu - no customization.
Only one was drinkable - the breve that may or may not have been made with drip coffee. Both the Pumpkin Shaken Espresso and the Pumpkin Pie Fritalia (that was ordered frozen but came out iced) succeeded in tasting nothing like pumpkin or pumpkin pie and only like completely burnt coffee. The iced-not-frozen Fritalia tasted the tiniest bit better after an hour and it was watered down from the melted iced - still couldn't drink it, but at least it didn't make me gag when I accidentally took a sip.
After all the issues with ordering, I was too stunned to ask for the ordered-frozen-but-served-iced drink to be remade. We also just wanted to get home since we still had 3 hours of driving to do and at that point I was just done with the headache.
So glad I didn't pay actual money for the drinks, but 2/3rds of them were absolutely a waste of my...
