I waited in line after I had ordered and paid for my food for a good 30-35 minutes. All I had ordered was a large drink and a medium concrete. As I waited people in front and behind me were getting their orders pretty quickly, though there were a lot of mixups between everyone’s orders, while I was stuck waiting. It was past 10 o’clock so they were starting to close while I was still waiting for my order. I was sitting in my car as I watched employees walk out of the building holding food or drinks for themselves and going to their cars getting ready to leave. Not a single employee questioned why I was still waiting in the drive thru line with a sticker on my mirror that had the order number on it. They just kept walking and ignoring me. Let me remind you I had already paid for my order. I had some friends who had already gotten their food who were eating outside and they called me asking what the problem was and said they had already finished eating. I told them what was happening and they tried to go into the lobby to talk to the staff because I didn’t want to leave my car in case someone did walk out with my order, however the doors were locked and no one would let them in. Finally some customers leaving the lobby opened the doors and let them in. According to my friends, they repeatedly told the staff what my order number was and what I had specifically ordered, but the staff explained they had already shut down the custard and soda machines so they couldn’t do anything about it. One of the employees said he had already sent out my order anyways. They had some leftover ice cream that they made and they told my friends to give me that. It wasn’t even close to what I ordered and according to the menu I looked up, it was worth less than what I paid for. My friends told me that the employees seemed very disinterested in helping solve the problem. I was never given a receipt either, however I do have a charge on my card in my bank account so I can prove I paid for my order. There was a sign on the drive thru window that essentially said to not get mad at the employees for messing up orders because they are trying their best and if someone thought they could do a better job they could apply to work there. I laughed when I saw that because I wondered who would be so impatient with food workers if they’re making minors mistakes. Well now I understand why customers feel that way and I don’t blame them. The employees didn’t appear to even try to help solve the problem and brushed it off. I don’t even know what kind of compensation would help fix this problem because I wasted a lot of time and some money ordering here and definitely had the worst service I’ve ever had. Even McDonalds employees show they care more than these employees did. And I would truly appreciate if the Culver’s manager responds to this review to not tell me to leave a comment on their contact website because I already tried that and simply cannot limit my concern to 1200 characters as it says on the...
Read moreI had a truly terrible experience at Culver’s, and the manager, Brayden, was an absolute nightmare. From the moment I stepped in, his behavior was bizarre and completely unprofessional. It was obvious something was off with him, and I honestly believe he’s under the influence of drugs. Brayden was acting completely out of control—he seemed disoriented, unsteady, and was moving in strange, jerky motions. His speech was slurred, and he could hardly focus on anything. When I approached him with a question about the menu, he barely acknowledged me, giving me an incoherent answer and barely making eye contact. It was clear he wasn’t in any state to manage a restaurant, let alone interact with customers. The cleanliness of the restaurant was shocking. There were crumbs all over the floor, tables that hadn’t been wiped down in ages, and trash piled up near the entrance. Brayden walked past all of this without even flinching, acting like he didn’t see a thing. He also made no effort to ensure the kitchen was up to standard—it was messy, disorganized, and seemed to be run in chaos. At one point, I even saw Brayden touch food without washing his hands, which made me incredibly uncomfortable. What was most disturbing, though, was his treatment of the employees. Brayden was verbally abusive, shouting at staff members over trivial mistakes and making them visibly anxious. His tone was erratic—he would go from yelling to laughing uncontrollably, making everyone feel even more uncomfortable. It was obvious that he wasn’t in a position to lead, and his behavior was having a terrible impact on the entire team. I honestly don’t know how this place can function with someone like Brayden in charge. It’s clear he’s not fit to be managing anything, and I can’t help but think he’s dealing with something much deeper that’s affecting his ability to do his job. I will definitely not be returning to this Culver’s, and I would advise anyone to avoid it until they address the...
Read moreCompletely Unhinged & Unclean – Avoid This Location!"
I’ve been to many Culver’s locations, but nothing compares to the nightmare that is the Culver’s in Layton, all thanks to their manager, Brayden. This guy is completely out of touch with reality and should not be in charge of anything, let alone running a restaurant.
First off, the cleanliness at this location was downright disgusting. The floors were sticky, the tables were covered in crumbs, and there was even food on the walls. When I asked Brayden about it, he looked at me like I was crazy for even mentioning it, muttering something about "being busy." Busy doing what? Standing around and chatting with his coworkers, clearly not managing anything!
But the worst part? Brayden seemed absolutely unhinged. He was all over the place, shouting at employees for no reason and then, moments later, laughing hysterically by himself in the corner. It was unsettling to watch. His inability to maintain any order or cleanliness made me question how this place stays open.
I miss when Brian ran things here. Back then, the place was clean, organized, and the staff actually seemed to know what they were doing. It’s clear that Brian had the place running like a well-oiled machine, and now, it feels like Brayden’s driving it into the ground.
If you value your sanity and your health, do yourself a favor and go to another location. I wouldn’t trust Brayden to run a lemonade stand, let alone a restaurant. This place is a disaster, and it all starts with that maniacal "manager." Never...
