I will start off by saying this location is one of the best I've been to. The one on Fort Lane is always 40-50 minute wait (if they even answer the phone). But here, it's always 20 minutes or less, the employees are always on top of it and friendly. Today, however was saddening, and not at the fault of the workers, but more the company as a whole.
Tuesdays are the day to get pizza here, as they boast $10.99 large pizza's, which apparently, can be applied to a family size pizza for $2 more, but does not apply to a medium for $1 less, which is how most of their pricing works. Unfortunately for me, the only pizza here that will fit my 12-inch toaster oven is a medium. So today, Tuesday, I paid more for a Medium 12-inch pizza than I would have for a family size pizza, which I believe is 15 inches.
I guess my only solution is to buy a massive pizza, and cut it into thirds or fourths. But at least this only happened once, hopefully this review saves someone else from making the same...
Read moreI placed an online order and went to pick it up. The order had one pizza and a cinnamon wheel. The wheel wasn't present in the pick up area and the staff informed me they had none. This is quite confusing as my card was charged for this. When I asked for a refund I was informed that only managers have that ability.
The young lady working the register really inspired confidence by saying ,"Don't worry I'll tell my manager!" How shameful that a business will not only charge you for unavailable items, but that their employees are not empowered to even process refunds. I am certain that my name and item to be refunded, recorded on scrap paper and pen will really solve this issue.
This is a failure on management for not empowering employees, failure by the worker for horrible customer service and failure in business processes for allowing things to happen that never should occur in the...
Read moreRecurring issue with the thickness of the crust being absurdly thin. We've had multiple orders now be wafer thin crusts, and we didn't even order thin crust. But even if we had, these crusts are thinner than thin crust, it's bizarre. Ruins the entire pizza honestly, since it throws off the cook times too, resulting in burnt, paper-thin crust.
EDIT: Used the customer complaint form provided in the owner reply below, and never heard back. Pretty disappointing.
Edit #2: 6 months later, gave this location another try. Same exact issue. Never heard back from customer support. This issue never occurs at other Papa Murphy locations, only this one. This location is closest to us, but other locations never have this problem. Crust is way too thin, like 1/16th of an inch. Like the dough hasn't risen....
