10/3/2021 (Sunday) - While I generally like Dunkn' Donuts; this particular location has to be the most mismanaged franchise I've been to. Walked in to order due to the drive thru line being to the street. How the parking lot is setup - you can end up being blocked in line for a very long time.
Now, the front register customer service rep, was on her 2nd day ever - had no idea about menu items (not her fault). I ordered a sourdough breakfast sandwich, and watched for 30 min as others flooded the inside with the same thinking I had - to avoid the drive thru line. By the time I found the manager (Long hair dude), I asked for a refund for my sandwich - he then looked to the kitchen for my sandwich, and said sure - then disappeared off into the back. At this point there is like 15 people inside waiting on orders, and over 20 cars trying to line up the drive through, and they have an active employee on break while there is all of this going on sitting in the middle of all the customers who had been waiting for such a long time.
I ended up walking away without a refund because I knew it would take another 30 minutes just to get that processed. I will never go back to this location, as it seems to be mismanaged.
This location seems undertrained, ignorant on their job duties, and lacking any kind of customer service. I know its, "Dunkn" and you get what you get.
TLDR: Save yourself some valuable time, money, and headaches and just go to Starbucks - they seem to know how to manage a drive thru line/customer service, you can think this review after you...
Read moreI love DD but not this location. They never have donuts! Finally today I decided to complain to the manager. What a waste of time- she had a really bad attitude repeated over and over again how popular they are and that if I wanted them to get there at 5am. Really? On a Saturday? She said that they only get deliveries once a day and once those are gone they do not have the ability to make more. You would think on a Saturday morning they would have more than one delivery or at least bring in more of what is popular and less of what is not. Sad. Additionally, the manager then told me that they do not want more than one delivery because they do not want to toss out food. They would rather have a customer walk away then waste food. She said that they did still have donut holes or coconut covered ones for those who really wanted donuts. While I do understand her point, having more chocolate frosted ones on hand would probably not go to waste... So I left, went to Shipley's on Nasa Rd One and they were so nice and had plenty available. Lots of people were there in line to buy them. I don't know but I think turning customers way to save on tossing out a few donuts is not smart business. No wonder they are starting to...
Read moreHorrible experience there this morning. First let me say I in customer service for years. Not trying to be a diva when I say my coffee was given to me, hot without a sleeve, literally was spilling into my hand as she handed it to me in the drive through window. Coffee was WAY too hot without a sleeve, everyone makes mistakes, and YES it did spill on me. My problem is that when I genuinely was surprised she didn't offer napkins, to clean the cup up before she gave it to me, or apology that she burned me. I took my hand back and she was STILL there handing it to me as is. I was shocked. Finally took it, had to dump some out before I put it in the car cause it was obviously too full and then said "have a nice day" i guess? Lol due to the fact I've worked in customer device for so long. I was dumbfounded if the "service" and what had just happened, my hand hurt and the coffee still being so full it was still spilling a bit in my car. Below are the photos taken immediately after I set it down. Also how many times I tried calling their store and no ones answering. I won't ever be back....
