Lalo's Cafe — Restaurant in Lemoyne

This place truly surprised us with the menu options it has to offer. Not only is it unique in their breakfast menu option but it also offers a twist of authentic Mexican food which I absolutely love! My husband had the Grande Breakfast (the home fries don’t look much different from other home fries, but the taste was so delicious! I don’t know how they seasoned the home fries but definitely worth it). I had one of the specials for the day, the Crispy Apple French Toast and it was delicious! The bread was nice and fluffy. I also added a carne asada taco on the side because why not? And I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was. I’m personally a taco lover and I just had to order 3 more tacos to take home. The service excellent too! Definitely coming back...

When I read this restaurant had all 5-star reviews, I was very excited to try it. However, I was somewhat disappointed during my experience. The server, who also doubled as a host, was not knowledgeable of the menu and did not understand what dippy eggs were. We just changed our order to clear up any confusion. Then, when you order the Grande Breakfast, it comes with a coffee but that doesn't include the coffee they offer when they ask if you want any beverages before ordering. I've attached a copy of my receipt. There were 2 of us ordering, which included the beverages of a coffee and an orange juice. We decided to give Lalo’s a try on Mother’s Day. I reserved a table for 10. We were sat on time. Our waitress was so nice and super comedian funny. She had us cracking up!! I was super impressed that she took our order without writing anything down and made no mistakes! - and while taking our orders she was cracking jokes. She truly made the experience a joy!
