I placed an order through the Jimmy John’s app yesterday which was on Sunday. I waited about 45 minutes to an hour for my delivery. I then realized I was still waiting for my food to arrive. I decided to call to check on the order the manager/owner answered and stated he tried to call me on the number listed on the app to let me know that my order came in after the store was closed. I asked for my money back John explained he couldn’t get in the system to give me my money back etc.. and that he set my order for the next day to be delivered. Since John the manager/owner explained that he couldn’t do anything because the system was completely shut down that he couldn’t even get into it. I said okay to John even though he explained my order is set for delivery tomorrow at 10am. I waited for Jimmy John’s to open called at 10am and another gentleman that worked there took my call. I gave him my order number and he looked it up he explained my order was canceled. I asked why because the person that I spoke to which was John said that he put the order for the next day at 10. I asked to speak with the manager which was John and I didn’t realize it at the time I asked why was the order canceled when he said he set it for delivery today at 10am. He said I was persistent in wanting my money back so he stayed back last night to cancel order when he specifically said to me he couldn’t get into the system, and basically just apologize. To didn’t say anything about what he was going to do or anything after he explained to me the order was set for tomorrow delivery at 10.. then he says back I never told you that and it’s lie.. he continued to show no empathy or nothing about what he told me the previous day. I asked for the manager over him he said he was the owner and he could give me the corporate office to file a complaint.. again he showed no empathy or didn’t even care what he told me.. and failed to follow up with me to let me know what he did. I explained that was very poor customer service and poor management in the way he handled me. Read morePoor customer service, the black lady working there is very rude. And everyone else is just quiet, not welcoming at all. They didn’t even bag my sandwich and when I ask they said “bags are there”. I ordered a #9. Usually when you order by number and don’t specify “just the sandwich “ and if they don’t ask either I assume it’s the combo. Which is what happened today. They didn’t bag my sandwich why would they hand me my cup right!? I assumed I paid for a combo and grabbed my cup, begin to fill it with ice. When the black lady rudely asked if I paid for a combo. I said yes, can you verify? She responded “no you only paid for the sandwich “ I explained why I thought I had paid for the combo and to charge me the rest. While everyone else was just staring I paid the difference which I paid more than paying for a combo in the end. They rang up chips and drink separately vs a combo. Thank God we have a great self employed job to pay for a combo ( chips and drinks ) and even if I didn’t, I wouldn’t be stealing no chips and drink. Read moreFirst time trying a JJ. We’ve all heard their commercials and I passed by one and was in the mood for a sandwich so I figured I would give them a shot.
-Hardly NO parking. Almost got ran over by one their delivery drivers trying to come inside.. I guess that’s how they deliver so fast, people on hoods of their cars or not.
-SMALL dining room. Maybe 5 tables and a booth. Definitely can tell the bulk of their business is TOGO, not dine in.
-Was met with a “hello” without anyone even looking in my direction. Was off putting to feel as being in their way by coming in and ordering.
-Saw their new Kickin Cajun Chicken sandwich. Looked good so I ordered it. No, lettuce or onion. Have to go back to work, didn’t want to be smelling like onions.
-Very disappointed. Who wants to eat cold “rotisserie” style chicken? Bread was cold, meat was cold and, I guess, that’s how they serve it because I wasn’t asked if I wanted it hot.
