Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Lewisville

This is the second Schlotzsky's I visited after the one in Flower Mound. However, this one was very much unlike that one. Indifferent staff and average food.

Food: We ordered Sourdough based Fresh Veggie sandwich and Tomato Basil Canestrelli Pasta. Pasta was okay - lot of tomato sauce which gave it a sour taste. The fresh Veggie sandwich was good.

Ambiance: Quite a spacious place with a good number of seating options. Overall, good ambiance.

Service: This is where this place has a problem. Here, we need to order at the counter from where they give us a buzzer which will buzz once the order is ready. As we entered, nobody to greet or check what we would like to order. Some staff members were doing something but didn't bother to look up. After some time, one gentleman got free enough to ask us about what we'd like to have. This is not something you'd expect. Food didn't take much time to come. However, the quality wasn't good enough to compensate for the lack of service.

This location is the worse by far.

We went in on 3/19/23 to pick up a few sandwiches for dinner. There was a guy pushing around a broom just cleaning behind the register. He or no other employees acknowledged we were waiting to place an order. After a few minutes waiting an employee came out from the back and was loudly cursing and saying he didn't want to do some task that was given to him.

Once our food was made we noticed that we were not given our bags of chips. When my wife asked if the chips on the counter were ours the employee stated " I don't know with an attitude." She finally asked the employee that took my order and he confirmed it was ours.

I was very surprised how unprofessional the employees are at this restaurant. I will never go back to this location and hope the owner understands the crew he has at this location might need to...

Terrible service. When we picked up the order and I asked for mustard and hot sauce, the manager working drive through had an attitude. We placed our order online and requested no cheese and no ranch. They made it with ranch and we requested they remake the sandwich. The manager had such an attitude the entire time. They remade the sandwich and still did it wrong with cheese. My daughter went in to get a refund and as soon as she walked through the door he asked her what’s wrong now and she let them know they still made the sandwich wrong. Extremely rude to her, rolling their eyes and making comments.
