We paid for the VIP Platinum room for the recommended amount of 20 people. The paid rooms have room service that comes to you for ordering of food and drinks. Upon entry, you are asked for your ID and security does bag checks (which is great!). This place felt pretty new because, well, it IS pretty new. Like, some of the service was a bit choppy and sloppy, but nothing that was offensive or a huge problem. We also didn't quite have enough seating in the room but nobody that worked there brought an extra tears until we were literally 2 minutes away from the end of our session. Again, that's not really a huge deal, but it did make me roll my eyes at the end of the night because it was one of those things that I didn't even know to ask for because I didn't know that it was a thing that could be offered. 🤣
The private rooms have a system you run yourself that's pretty neat. They show you the things you need to know and you take it from there and go at your own pace. The only thing we couldn't figure out was the mic volume, but that wasn't really a problem once we got rolling. All of the tracks are ran through Karafun, and have options to raise or lower the lead and background vocals to any degree.
It's worth noting that they serve food, but I couldn't find that listed anywhere in their marketing. I was very hopeful to bring a bite in after having a ridiculously long day and was informed outside food wasn't allowed. They only have like 5-6 menu items that are all snacky-type things. That was a pretty big inconvenience for me that I could've avoided altogether had that information been posted clearly on their website or socials. I ended up leaving my food at security for the two hours we were there and picking it up on my way out.
As a heads up, it's $150/hour for this particular room for a minimum of two hours PLUS a service charge that amounts to $60 PLUS a tip if you choose to leave one. Food and drinks are paid on individual tabs and not included in the room fee. This information is kind of hard to find on their website when you're reserving the room. It's also worth noting that reserving the room with a card doesn't charge your card immediately. You don't pay for the room until you show up for your reservation. So if you need to use a different card than the one that you reserved under, they allow you to do that.
I would definitely try it again! I was glad to try the private room to get an idea of how that operated and really think it has a lot...
Read moreAmazing song selection, a catalogue of something like 50,000+ songs. Our group always has some pretty wild choices but every song we picked was available.
The main stage/area could probably have been built a little bigger. It feels like they sacrificed space so they could have more private rooms. To each his/her own but I’ve never seen any reason why people would go to a private room for karaoke. Come out and enjoy the fun! And the prices people are paying for private rooms? You could have bought a lot of drinks for that.
Staff is friendly and professional. Bartender was great. I wish the owners would let him do stronger pours though. Drinks are expensive enough you want to have some alcohol in them.
I’d like to visit another night and find a more lively, experienced karaoke crowd. It wasn’t just when I and my so-so voice were onstage… I noticed so many singers who went up there and put their heart in it, only to look around the audience and see so many people playing on their phones and not paying attention—or, worse, shouting conversations across tables. I know it’s just karaoke and non of us are pros, but there is kind of an...
Read moreUnfortunately my friends and I will not be returning. I booked a $70 private room ($89 after the 20% autogratuity whether you order food/drinks or not) for up to 4 people for 2hrs. At the beginning, the staff showed us how to flip the call light if we need anything. I told the staff that my husband would be bringing my cake but not staying. No problem. However after he came and left my friend and I did NOT turn on the call light but our next song was interrupted: "are yall ok, I thought I saw a man in here?"...yep remember, my husband that I said was bringing cake? Then, we turned on our regular light to cut said cake and our next song interrupted: "y'all ok, your light is on?". Yep. Not the call light. Then another song was interrupted by staff coming in to place a paper ad about Superbowl specials on the wall. Then we got our 15min warning. We were interrupted about 6 times in 2 hours despite never flipping the call light. We just wanted to be left alone to sing after paying...
