Chaotic Good: Coffee, Comics and Games — Restaurant in Lexington

Literally the only reason I’m not giving full stars is because the lack of plugs. It sounds petty, but genuinely if you want to read, hang out with friends, play a board game, draw, or write this place is Perfect. Capital P! However, I like to go here to write on my laptop or prep dnd sessions and I often stay for a long time. Sometimes I come halfway through the day and my devices aren’t fully charged. Well, there’s only one spot that has an outlet that is convenient to use. Otherwise you accidentally setup a trip wire in the walkways, take up an entire table to yourself, or get limited to what life your device has left. I don’t know anything about electrical setups or fire code/building code safety so if it violates any of that or isn’t possible I COMPLETELY understand! If it is possible I would request you guys maybe looking into stringing some sockets along where you can.

Tl;dr Not enough plugs and the ones that do exist are hard to reach.

I love this place despite this though. It’s my favorite place to relax on a weekend or...

Chaotic Good is possibly the coolest coffee shop in Lexington…and I go to a lot of coffee shops. The coffee and service is great, proprietors are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the best part for me is that there is a lot of space, the music is nice and relaxed, and if you have any work to do, the tables are large and the lighting is by far the best in town. As a writer and artist myself, there’s nothing better than sitting down with a great pour-over or Americano and leaning into my work in an environment that oozes fun and creativity but isn’t frenetic or intrusive. And unlike almost all the other coffee shops I’ve frequented in town, I’ve never once had to ask the staff to clean the tables. Oh, and there’s always plenty of parking which is also rare - especially this close...

We had the most amazing experience here! I had an hour, and I had to kill when my daughter was down the street at artworks. We walked in the door it's just a very warm atmosphere everybody seem to be having a great time. They have game tables going on all over people drinking coffee it was just the perfect setting. We ordered the flight of iced lattes and were able to pick the floor flavors we wanted, and they were wonderful!

The best part of our night was the awesome "Mom" that was working and served us. We had a little one with us, and she heard us tell her she couldn't have the coffee. So she brought a small warm chocolate with lots of whipped cream on it! It was a precious effort above and beyond to make her night.
