The first few times I went to this location the service and quality were great but in the past few months something has changed. I totally understand them being understaffed and it being tough to have quick service but many times I don't know why it takes so long when there's so many employees behind the counter.
I always order on the app at least 10 minutes ahead and every time I feel like I get scolded for not ordering further ahead. One time recently I ordered 30 minutes ahead of me going to the store and they told me I should've ordered even earlier because they didn't have my drink ready. They usually ask your name and your drink order multiple times during the visit and seem really frustrated. The estimated wait time on the app is not usually correct and I typically end up waiting at least 15 minutes more than it expects. It's hard to be so patient when I'm paying almost $8 anytime I get a drink and I feel like I'm getting a lecture for even ordering; I almost feel like it's my fault that I bought a drink. It's not unusual for them to forget to put things in my drink that I'm paying extra for. Many times when I've gotten a bad drink I won't take it back to be re-made because I don't want to frustrate anyone. Read moreThis place is great in the morning. Timely. Friendly. Well made. Didn’t like the breakfast sandwiches. Overpriced and not great. But good service. Spot on. But ugh….the mid-day staff is shorthanded and not what I would call customer service oriented at all. Always run 10 to 15 minutes past your stated pick up time which is usually already a 10 or 20 minute wait. Today they made me the wrong drink and looked at me cross eyed because I wouldn’t take it after it was already 15 minutes behind when it was supposed to be ready. 3-4 people ever is all they have working during a busy time and they are all pretty grumpy. Hard to even get anyone to acknowledge you at the register- won’t even make eye contact. The dining area is a mess. No clean tables. Trash cans full. Prep area looks like a train wreck. Milk sitting out extended periods. They take your order online but then never provide updates and stand around waiting forever and don’t bother asking. Read moreFirst time ever at this Starbucks. I had a coffee with whipped cream and caramel. Only problem was there was no caramel on the top. None. And the guy asked me twice at the counter if I wanted caramel on top. I said yes both times. The coffee was terrible. And I mean terrible. When I got out to the parking lot and dumped it out the rest of it the bottom was just covered in black stuff that wasn't stirred. Now the funny thing is if you go to the Starbucks on the east side of Lima, terrific. They know what they're doing and the coffee is good. It's exactly how I usually get it. This one, terrible. Sad thing is that this place has been open for almost year and the reviews are below 3.5 so that should tell you something.
