Das Haus — Restaurant in Lincoln

Some nights there are covers but typically doesn't exceed $10. Pretty inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community. I love the local drag talent that performs there! They also have a baby drag talent night at least once a month for new performers that want to get some experience. The drag artists that I've met there are great people, even outside of drag. In addition to drag performances, they regularly host watch parties, karaoke nights, etc. Das has really improved the ambiance since I first started going there. There is a small seating area off the bar and additional tables in the stage area, but ultimately not enough seating for the amount of attendees, so you may expect to stand. The bar is fully stocked but it often takes a long time to get served because there is not enough staff for the crowds (at least when I've attended). Very fun place to be...

I came to Das Haus for my birthday with 6 of my friends and I have to say, it was absolutely AMAZING! If you are in Lincoln, NE and are craving a simple vodka water, then stop on over for the most refreshing vodka water you will ever have in your life. The incredible bartenders and managers provided me and my 6 friends with the best customer service I have ever experienced. I contacted them prior to my birthday inquiring about a cover, to which I received a very timely and accurate response. I was able to confirm the shows via all platforms of social media utilized but Das Haus. The bartenders also informed me of the upcoming foam party (which may or may not have gluten free foam). I look forward to my next visit and that amazing simple vodka water. I swear, it was so refreshing it was like standing in the midst of an untouched...

It's a cool spot where you can have a nice time for just $60 per couple. BUT, since it's the only Gay Bar in Lincoln, they've gotten lazy and don't put much effort into the shows or the vibe of the place anymore. The shows have become messy, in a really bad way; are disorganized and lack style, they run way too long and start super late. While I love drag, I also want to dance with my friends to the DJ Music. They have a VIP area that's always empty; SO HERE'S AN IDEA: use that space to create another room with a dance floor and only DJ music, and move the VIP area next to the stage where the drag show happens. THEY REALLY NEED SOME...
