Food and service was great I had several dishes like the lamb shank, chicken shawarma plate, and the beef and chicken kebab plate were excellent. The sandwiches ware really good and filling as well I’m a big fan of the chicken tikka sandwich. I’d recommend this place for anyone who wanted to try good middle eastern food.

I’ve tried their lentil soup and lamb tikka wrap/sandwich, and I’ve never experienced that kind of taste before. I’ve been visiting Mediterranean restaurants since I moved to Lincoln, and to be honest, this is just my personal opinion—but I’d highly recommend you give it a try. It’s worth it!🍱🥗🌮

I placed a takeout order today for Lamb Shank over rice, it had a side of tasty hummus(it had a spice oil mixed in that made the hummus tasty) & a side salad with dressing. The young gentleman behind the counter took my call in order and was friendly and professional on the phone. The same young man put my order together and was very friendly. Enjoyed the food at home, quite tasty. I never realized all this time that this tiny restaurant was next to the Phillips Gas Station on the east side of North 17th street. If you don’t look for it one can easily miss it. I will be sure to return with my sisters to try some of the other tasty looking entrees. Thank...

Since moving to the area, I have been searching for a decent Middle Eastern restaurant. Safaa exceeded all of my expectations. I ordered the falafel with dolmas and baba ganoush. Everything here is made fresh, in house. The flavors of the baba ganoush ( smoky, sweet, savory), the unique and delicious take on the dolmas ( slightly piquant, with a touch of pomegranate molasses) and the fresh to order, perfectly seasoned falafel. I came in here for lunch and was immediately greeted. He explained to me the whole concept and a run down of the restaurant. The food was very authentic and flavorful. What really stood out to me is how the meat was so extremely tender and fell right off the bone.
