I just left frustrated today because of the lack of customer service. It was so bad that another customer tried to help the situation. I come in on average once a week and either order a PB Swizzle (without the peanut butter) or a Coaco Haze. Today a male worker took my order of the PB Delight (completely my fault). I started taking out the Gogi berries and asked for chocolate drizzle to compensate for my mistake but quickly changed my mind and told the female worker that I didn’t want the Açaí bowl at all because of the Gogi berries and the peanut butter and would order the PB Swizzle without the peanut instead. She walked away silently and started working on other orders.
I walked over to the cash register and stood there for a few minutes before getting any acknowledgment from either the male or female worker. The female worker took my order and I told her I wanted the PB Swizzle without the peanut butter. She asked me if I wanted to substitute the peanut butter for the chocolate drizzle and I told her, “No, keep it as is.” I payed for the açaí bowel and waited. When it was finished she called me up. I opened the bag and it was the PB Swizzle with peanut butter. I asked for more clarification on why there was peanut butter and she insisted that was what I asked for. The male worker came over to try to figure out what was wrong, when I explained to him everything he asked, “Did you make it clear that you didn’t want peanut butter?” Baffled by that response, I expressed my concerns on where the confusion was.
When I received the first bowl, I told her at the pick up station that I didn’t want the Gogi berries or the peanut butter. I acknowledge that I ordered the wrong thing and decided to pay for another açaí bowl without the things I said I didn’t want in the first bowl. I told her at the register that I wanted the PB Swizzle just without the peanut butter.
If it wasn’t made clear by those three things, I’m not sure what else I could have done to make it more clear. What made it worse, was how they both walked away without any type of resolution when I received my second bowl (the same thing the female worker did the first time). When I told her at the register to keep the açaí bowl as is after declining the chocolate drizzle is where I felt she misunderstood. I didn’t want to add anything to the açaí bowl and the only modifications I needed was taking the peanut butter out but she took that literally contrary to expressing multiple times in different ways I did not want the peanut butter.
All in all some training on how to pay more closer attention to what the customer is asking/wants, and some conflict resolution skills would be very...
Read moreAlways friendly customer service, a bright, clean atmosphere, usually pretty quick, even when there is a line.
Smoothies are always tasty, and seasonal flavors bring variety throughout the year (except the 'festive cherry' flavor at Christmas time. Avoid that with extreme prejudice. It tasted of wet cinnamon flour and sad cough syrup. I couldn't bring myself to finish it, it was that bad.)
They have a selection of snacks available that are absolutely marketing to a "healthy lifestyle" brand -- lots of protein bars/powders and energy drinks/boosters. Organic grass-fed jerky and protein pretzel bites, energy cookies, that sort of thing. Very geared towards a particular audience.
It's loud on account of the blenders, but that's just to be expected (if you have a person in your party with a noise/auditory sensitivity, be advised.)
This is Lincoln's only Smoothie King location, but it is centrally located on O Street. The approach to the lot is best from eastbound O Street, but you can also get there with limited difficulty from the westbound O left turn lane at 52nd, or if you are crossing O street at 52nd.

My only real complaint (and that is the chain, not the location) is that if you order through the app, you don't have the choice of the plastic cup, you are stuck with Styrofoam, which I don't like for a variety of reasons, but...
Read moreI buy at least two maybe sometimes three of their famous bowls a day and I go to different locations. Today I was in In Lincoln. I simply asked the gal if I could have a little more peanut butter because it looked like there wasn't enough in there. Keep in mind that these are $14 bowls They kept telling me that it had enough. Looking at me like I was kind of an idiot. I went ahead and asked 23 times very nicely and courteously at the end of the road after being told that I was delusional that there was peanut butter in there. I told him I didn't want the bowl. Drove 28 minutes to come get the bowl now I'm driving 28 minutes back Empty-handed all over wanting a little bit of peanut butter. I would not recommend this place to anybody there are so many alternatives to get these bowls. I am really starting to shift away from...
