Six Ten Center — Restaurant in Little Rock

Came to hang out with friends because everyone was feeling down. The only positive thing was the beautiful bar. The rest turned an already strained night worse. Huge roach came down the wall where we were sitting. We left immediately. We shared a cheese dip. It was room temperature velveeta style dip and the chips had to be store bought. The clientele is okay, but the music is too loud to interact with each other, felt more like a club than a bar. And, while the bar service was fast and extremely friendly, after asking 3 separate times, I didn’t get what I wanted. 2 tequila shots. Nothing fancy. I was given two giant cocktail glasses of the tequila shaken in god knows what, and when we left due to the roach, I returned one drink to close out my tab, it was still $13. I don’t know if it was shaken with ice or something but it tasted horrible. And they HAD SHOT GLASSES, I literally went back to the bar to ask for one to pour shots from the drinks myself and each glass contained 3 shots worth of liquid. I don’t want you to over pour me or treat me or excite the drink, I want two room temperature straight up shots of tequila in shot glasses, like I actually felt like crying because it was all I wanted after a hard day. We also ordered a water that came from the soda line and it tasted oddly of watermelon and something stale. I wanted to like this place so bad, it came highly recommended by a friend, and this city needs spaces for LGBTQ+ folks so bad. And I rarely leave bad reviews but this was a rough experience. I was in LR for work and wanted to go out for a drink. I found this club/bar, and it was perfection. I paid the entry fee and found my way to an empty seat. I was asked promptly about what I would like to have and it was brought to me. The drink was strong and better than I have had at other places. I continued to sit and enjoy the atmosphere unbothered while being served what I asked for. The patrons on the side of me were pleasant and engaged in great small talk. When it was closing time, my tab was brought to me. Everyone left with no complaints to the staff. I would recommend stopping by for anyone traveling through or if your a local and want a new place to meet friends...

It's a gay bar, smoking inside. The drinks are hugely strong, which is great/so be careful. The crowd is mixed (gays) due to little rock only having one such establishment, which I really like! When I was a baby gay I thought of it as a bear/leather bar (cuz I had only been to it on that night as part of pride). But as a late 20s post-twink gay I find myself there plenty. You can also walk to the best gay club in town from there. So if you're feeling your oats then it's a party.
