Me and my family decided to try outback on a whim instead of going to roadhouse down the street, because we haven't had it since kids & we were excited to try it after a long long time.... m
It was a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE & Customer service was shocking, especially coming from someone who is a regional manager and trains stores on customer service. On March 30th around 8pm. We were met with a kind hostess and sat at a table very quickly. Our waitress on the other hand, was snarky and made us feel like an inconvenience. My husband ordered a queensland steak pasta with a side of mash potatoes & I ordered a Bone in New york with fries and chili. I asked for the cheese on the side since I was gonna share with my daughter and she can't have cheese.
When our food came, the chili came out first & I had to ask for the cheese because it was missing and they told me I ordered it without cheese. But that was not true. I explained to the guy who brought it out that I told our waitress, I wanted it on the side and but he said there was a note for no cheese. Either way, he was kind and brought it out to us. Our food came out fairly quickly so that was nice, but it was terrible... We didn't complain or say anything because we already felt like a headache for them and didn't want to be met with more hostility. For the price tbh, being almost $30 for my steak plate and $25 for my husband's it should of been good. The steak pasta was ordered medium rare and came out so tough and dry, the noodles were bland. My new york was very tough but I will admit it had good flavor, but hard to eat for a medium rare steak. The mashed potato side that was supposed to come out with the steak pasta didn't. When the waitress came back I let her know and instead of realizing the mistake and bringing it out. She turned it on us, making it seem like it was our fault by saying "there was miscommunication because you and him were talking" & saying that we didn't want a side of potatoes... but why would we order a side/ tell u he wanted that side/ al la carte & her take that as he didn't want mashed potatoes with an entree that didn't come with sides?
She only came to our table to take our order, pick up a plate and bring the check without us asking for it. She didn't check up on us until we were 3/4th done nor did we get drink refills. Someone else came and brought us a refill on bread. Manager was asking tables how everything was and looked directly at us, smiled and my husband and walked right past us, skipping our table but asked the table in front, behind and beside us. Like what??? Mind this we were the only hispanics in that area... Not saying that had anything to do with it but could be. It was very rude.
I will never ever come back to this location again, honestly provably to any outback again because this ruined...
Read moreDon't waste your time!!!! We came here on 9-9-2020 for my husband's birthday dinner. Such a bad choice of a restaurant. Once we got seated, it took about a good 20 mins for our drink orders to be taken. The manager ended up taking our drink and appetizer order. And 15 mins later our waiter finally came and apologized because the restaurant was extremely busy that day, mind you only a certain percentage of the restaurant can be occupied due to Covid-19. The place was pretty empty. Our waiter took our food order. I ordered the new prime rib sandwich and asked for no mushrooms. The rest of my family ordered. We also asked for new sprites for my kids because the syrup ran out. After about a good 20 mins, I had to remind the waiter that my 3 kids were waiting for new drinks and he said they didn't have any more sprite syrup. He never told us and didn't even offer something else to drink until I asked. Once our food came out, we were missing my sandwich. The waiter told me that they couldn't make my sandwich without the mushrooms because they prep that meat in the morning and if I still wanted that sandwich or something else. I would had been completely ok with this and understanding if he would have told me when I ordered my meal or after he put the order in and NOT when my whole family got there food. By the time I got my meal, everyone else had already finished eating. My husband ordered a steak and lobster meal. He didn't get his lobster until he had to remind them after he was done with his meal. The service was HORRIBLE! We will definitely not go back. Pretty upsetting for our first...
Read moreOutback Steakhouse for the win!!!! Man I've been here a few years and had an absolutely horrible experience. Today was not that, and it was delivery!!! Got a porterhouse steak, a half rack of ribs, loaded mashed potatoes and asparagus. Braaaaah, when I tell you I've entered the sparkly gates of taste bud paradise it's an enormous understatement. Let's start with the porterhouse which was cooked to absolute perfection! Shared this steak with my wife, but quickly snagged up the filet side. She gets none lol jk (she definitely stole some lol). But let me tell you guys it literally melted in our mouths like butter, you could literally pull it apart with your fingers with zero effort and that was the strip side. But the filet side was absolute magic in your mouth, yes I said it magic!! An experience you can't even put into written word. It was that incredible. Now on to the ribs, omfg fall off the bone, tender with a hint of sweetness to pull it all together. Absolutely mouthwatering. The loaded mashed potatoes were off the chain, but unfortunately we're neglected due to being in previously described taste bud heaven, but when it was there time to shine they didn't disappoint, and last but not least the asparagus. Most I've had in the past have been flavorless and tough or undercooked, but these lil flavor bombs were gone in 60 seconds!!! Now as I sit here and write this review I wonder if it's even legal to make food this delicious, but either way I'm deleting my old review and admitting that Outback had a bad day last visit and has more than...
