I know I shouldn’t let a bad experience to tear me from the other Pizza Hut outlets but right now I feel justified because of the food and service and consequently, the so-called general manager. I ordered off the app Saturday April 26, 2025. The order was supposed to be ready at 6:28 PM. It was a carryout so when I went in, I waited a few minutes and saw my name on the board and it said my order was ready on the app the Young girl at the counter, went in the back and ass about my order and I can hear the boxer say that he was missing one of my pizzas, but she came back up and said that they’re real busy and shorthanded. The one piece I was ready I can see they just set it to the side. Didn’t even put it in a warmer. I didn’t get my second pizza until 6:53 PM and the first pizza was still still sitting there cold. I called the general manager today, Tuesday, April 29, 2025 and he just kept asking me. What did I want like I was just trying to get a free pizza when I was trying to ask about the protocol about getting my pizzas almost an hour after they ordered it no matter if they were busy or not one of the pizzas was ready they just forgot to make the other one. I can’t speak onhis character but in this particular conversation, he was rude and also given excuse that they were really busy, but he didn’t say anything about why one pizza was ready and left out on the counter for over half an hour. He kept asking me what was I looking for a good manager, would’ve just offered a solution. I may feel different about Pizza Hut in the future, but this whole experience has me wanting to give my money to another pizza establishment because obviously their business model Isn’t keeping a customer satisfied. Our delivery order just never showed up. It said it was being picked up at the store...then it said cancelled.
Well, it turns out at this store, they don't make sure the Doordash driver they are outsourcing their labor to has marked the order as picked up! They handed the driver my order, and my driver walked away with all of my food!
The store originally said we would have to dispute with Doordash since they handed it to them. After I asked for the manager said he could credit me or we could pick it up, while also saying "This happens all the time." They eventually agreed to cancel the order after I talked about filing a police report - come on, I should not have to threaten to get the police involved to get a freaking refund when you let some person walk off...
Read moreI recently visited the pizza hut on Plymouth and Middlebelt in Livonia. As I was waiting in my car for my order, I noticed a pizza hut worker on the ground looking underneath a vehicle. I went into the pizza hut to pick up the pizza, it wasn't quite ready and as I was waiting, the pizza hut worker came in and went straight to helping customers with their orders, never washing his hands nor putting on gloves 🧤🧤. I was totally disgusted, the pizza I ordered came out of the oven, but I was told it needed to go back into the oven for about 3 more minutes, at that point I just asked for my monies back. Basically what you don't see 🙈🙈 you won't know, this time I saw.
