FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD! SUPER FRESH!
SERVICE WAS A BUMMER!
Honestly, I couldn't tell if our waitress was being mean or was just bad at her job...and didn't realize she worked in a restaurant. Or just mean?
I really appreciate that our waitress is working in a job with the public, bringing people food, and taking a job that I wouldn't want.
I took my mom out for her birthday here. After we sat ourselves down and the waitress approached and asked what we wanted, I said all super excitedly, “It's my mom's birthday! Does she get anything special?" She looked over at my mom and flashed a smile and said DRIPPING with sarcasm "... a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" like we were asking her to put on a show because we were paying her to. My mom and I just chuckled, super passively cuz the waitress seemed so aggressive. I'm a goofy and friendly person, which is why I think I was so offended by this whole experience. I haven't been met with meanness before. After taking our order, she went to the table behind me and gossiped about her coworkers to another coworker. Come on lady, you're meanly gossiping TO A TEENAGE BUS BOY when you're in your 30s or possibly early 40s. Just like me.
Also, why the heck are you gossiping about and being mean to the kitchen staff?
Do you own the place? If so that's very unbecoming of an owner.
Are you their boss? If so, that's not how you should act, you are making them hate their jobs.
Are you a waitress? Then please know the food that was given to us was so delicious! Our only complaint was our waitress!
She failed every part of waitressing our table, like promising to come back and fill our coffee 3 times and never did, said she was getting us to go boxes and then forgetting, telling us she forgot, then finally giving us just one box so I got up and got another myself. We were there a good 20 minutes longer after the check was dropped off, plus about 10 minutes during the meal when we were waiting on something from her. It wasn't busy when we got there, and it didn't seem that busy when we left because another waitress was handling more than half the tables, and our waitress was mostly bussing tables and complaining to another female coworker next to the kitchen window area, where I went to get a second to go box.
I can wait forever, I am patient, I am generous, but just know that my mom isn't and I myself would actually ask for another waitress if fate made me come to this restaurant again.
I DID give her a decent tip. I put it on my card though, which I never do, but I didn't care because she didn't care.
I kind of hope she gets the tip.
I sort of hope she doesn't use it at a tanning booth.
I do hope she cheers up.
I DO hope she looks for a more suitable career for her personality type.
I definitely hope I get a different waitress if my mom wants to...
Read moreAWFUL!!!! NOT A SAFE PLACE FOR ANYONE WHO MAY HAVE ANY TYPE OF FOOD ISSUES. THEY SAY THEY HAVE GLUTEN FREE PANCAKES- I WOULD NOT TRUST MY HEALTH TO THEIR CLAIMS,THEY ARE NOT SAFE, AND THEY DO NOT CARE. The manager is nasty and does not care if his food makes customers sick. Today I ordered eggs and hashbrowns to be made dry with no dairy (butter or margarine etc...) as I am lactose intolerant. (can have a small amounts so ordering that way is still safe for me) Within an hour of eating the food I started a reaction, and not long after I had a very bad reaction which was obviously from eating dairy. I later called the restaurant to see if they had perhaps not used a clean part of the grill, just wanting them to know for future customers that could possibly get sicker than me. I called to fact find basically, to see what could have happened, not to complain, and I was nice. The manager/owner started yelling at me that he loves his customers, and his customers love him, and that I am not his customer, that I am nasty, and that I should not come back. He never even asked me what happened to me or how I was. He said they use nothing but pan and grill. And then he started ranting pan and grill over and over. When I explained to him that I was not trying to get anything out of the call other than to make him aware so that it does not happen to someone else, he just kept ranting pan and grill. Then he put what I assume was a waitress on the phone who kept ranting pan and grill over and over again. The shame of is was I also wanted to tell him how nice my waitress was, but he was so nasty to me I couldn't get a word in edgewise. I have NEVER been treated the way this man treated me. Shame on him. I truly worry about anyone who goes in that restaurant or any of his restaurants that may need to make a special order, because it may not happen, and he WILL NOT CARE. I hope no one else gets sick. This man should not be in the restaurant...
Read moreThis location used to be fantastic, food was always cooked good and the quality was great.
Cheese sticks so deep fried that several didn’t have cheese in them, don’t worry, they still serve you empty breading and put those at the bottom intentionally.
The fries looked like they pulled them out of the bathtub they were so limp and greasy. Asked for fresh fries they said I “have I have to send my entire plate back” I said just get me fries. Nope, they wanted the soggy a$$ fries back so they could quickly re-fry them and then say I should have asked for well done fries if I wanted them crispy. Like who the eff orders limp fries? I’ll take an order of soft, greasy potatoes.
Stank eyes from the cooks and I stank eyed right back because the dude should be ashamed of calling this a “gyro” tried stuffing half an onion on it so it looked full. Just pathetic to serve up 4 little slices of pre cooked meat. I get this Leo’s, but it used to be legit!
Unfortunately this location has gone down hill over the last few years. This isn’t a one off bad time experience, it’s progressively gotten worse and it irritates me that they’re fine taking money for half making food and expecting people to just be satisfied with it.
Told the kids they couldn’t have a refill on their sprite but they’ll bring out a water. Thanks for the 3 oz of pop with an iceberg in a cup, I could have paid for another pop for the kids but can’t even do that because the rules are so rigid. The server was a nice young dude, but he certainly gave the impression that he had marching orders to follow.
Do yourself a favor and pass by this location.
(Also it wasn’t just me having a hangry day, others around were sending food back...
