Where to begin.. Went here for brunch today and waited nearly 45 minutes before being told our food is finally being made and it wasn't even that busy nor was our order complicated. The table next to us who'd ordered less than 5 min from us were finishing when we got our food and they'd had an app, two adult meals and a kids meal. Not a great start. Shouldn't take THAT long for pancakes, sausage, bacon and hashbrowns..
Second issue; I was looking over the menu and made a substitution to my meal to have no eggs (substituted bacon instead of the eggs) for the breakfast and had told the waiter I couldn't eat eggs due to allergies and was not informed that the pancakes here had egg in them.
(I was not aware that most pancakes had eggs as I usually only eat pancakes at home that don't require them and assumed when waiter didn't dissuade me from them, that they were safe/egg free.
I didn't see anywhere on the menu that indicated the pancakes had eggs in them. Only a warning about the dangers of eating undercooked eggs at the bottom of the menu..)
When I got my food, both mine and my fiancés pancakes were still partly raw in the center and soggy as if they'd been sitting for a while and I couldn't stomach more than two bites before I had to push them away. My fiancé was too hungry from waiting so long to care.
Waiter offered to have the pancakes remade when he came back. It was a nice gesture but I declined as I didn't want to wait another half an hour for pancakes while my family got to eat.. the sausage links and bacon were decent at least..
Now I'm stuck at home with major GI upset from that lack of foresight and wishing I'd just paid for the drinks we had while waiting for so long and went to BK across the parking lot instead..
If someone says they can't have something due to allergies, please make sure they don't order things...
Read moreI came here because Angie's was closed. The owner of this establishment should be ashamed of him/herself. How can you not have enough pride of ownership as to take the time and train your staff? First impression, the floor was dirty, as if for the last 5 days no one had cared to sweep the floor. Crumbs, napkins, straws, ... We arrived, and one other family was finishing their meal. That's it; only two families! You would think I would get at least water at the table. No. The two girls (probably high schoolers) working the shift had no interest in faking it and make it look like they wanted to be there. It took some time for the server with the pretty purple nails to make it to our table. We ordered drinks & food at the same time. She looked at her watch, and I soon realized that no one was in the kitchen. Maybe the cook was taking a break. He arrived 25 minutes later, and we looked like we were back in business. By then the other family had left and a new gentleman walked in, after a long wait he ordered coffee. The two girls continued their -not so private- conservation about the shoes they liked, how much they had made on tips, and such. After 5 minutes of the cook's arrival our food arrived. The sandwich was great, the fries were not. As we were finishing our food, the guest at the other table started yelling at the girls wondering if he would need to get the coffee himself. The girls looked at each other like he was interrupting their chat and very slowly the blonde hostess walked to the coffee machine. The man continued to rumble ... stop talking and clean this place. If you need a quiet place to read where no one will disturb you for hours at a time, come...
Read moreWorst experience we have has was in the Logan Ihop. We went at 10am, not busy, tons of open booths. We waited for 30 minutes to be seated. They sat us at the only dirty table (we cleaned it ourselves) it took the waitress almost 10 mins to take our order. We waited and started noticing that most the staff was in dirty clothes and just not clean. And hour & 1/2 later, we asked if there was problem with our order...because we still didn't have our breakfast., she said no..no problem. I went to the restroom and seen ALOT of food just sitting in the window. It was noon when we finally started to get our food. I said to my boyfriend, check to see if your omelet is even warm. The waitress left and a guy came to our table and reprimanded us for being very rude to his staff. We all looked at each other, said what are you talking about?! The guy proceeded to raise his voice and state that we was being very mean and rude and we could always just leave. Hmm, ok. We looked at our old, cold breakfasts and said ok, we will leave. I didn't realize that waiting Patiently FOR 2 HOURS for our food was being rude. That place was a joke. It was filthy, floors and tables are gross, dirty an sticky. Staff is very rude and uncaring. If I could give a minus star, I would. I know that Ihop loosing 4 customers won't bother them, but that is one place we will NOT be going back to. SHAME ON...
