I have been coming to Cinnabon in Yorktown for years. I've never encountered anything outside of genuine smiles & great hellos. Well, that changed today:( I got my usual. A pecanbon with a side frosting. As the cashier rung up my order & I paid for it...I asked her "May I have a courtesy cup of water & she looked at me & said that's going to be $1.00...I asked when did you guys start charging for a courtesy cup of water...she immediately blamed it on the owner. I could almost understand if I hadn't purchased anything, but I just spent nearly $11.00 in this establishment & you can't give me a courtesy cup of water. I sat down & ate my pecanbon & as I got ready to leave the mall...I went back & asked her for their corporate number...she started fidgeting as if she couldn't find it...she wouldn't give me any eye contact...she gave me the Cinnabon number off the bottom of the box...I asked her name...then she goes...I'm the owner...I said ok...May I ask your name...again she replied...I'm the owner...I just said thank you. As a business owner myself, I would never treat anyone this way...to deny a paying customer a cup of courtesy water is beyond pitiful. She showed absolutely no common courtesy...nonewhatsoever. As for the owner who didn't want to tell me her name...I pray that you would have a change of heart as to how you treat your customers & perhaps anyone else that may look like me. This review is not intended to be mean or disrespectful...I'm writing this review...praying that you would do some self-examination. It's way too much competition out here for you to be so cold-hearted. I go where I feel appreciated & valued...I truly didn't get that from Yorktown Mall Cinnabon on July 12th 2024 at...
Read moreIf I could I would give them a zero. I hadn't bought Cinnabon in over a year due to not visiting the malls because of Covid. Yesterday I thought it would be a good idea to get Cinnabon rolls for my family for Valentine's Day. Their menu advertised 9 mini cinnabons for $14.99. I purchased the rolls and a drink for my granddaughter, that was advertised for $3.29. The girl rang up everything and I gave her my debit card. She asked if I wanted a receipt, and I said yes...and it's a good thing I did.. My total order was $23.65. While my order was being prepared I noticed the prices were higher than advertised. I asked the young girl who was boxing the cinnabons about the prices, and she advised me that all their prices were updated in the register but the menu board hadn't been updated. When I told her it was unfair to charge me a higher price without first letting me know, she just asked me if I still wanted the cinnabons. Mind you even though both were higher than advertised, I only asked about the cinnabons. I made it clear that as a customer I didn't want to pay more than the price advertised so she proceeded to unpack the cinnabons and refund me...Wow, she would rather forego a full sale than to refund a $1..and when I asked to speak to the manager, she said she is the manager. The young lady looked to be 18 at most but even my 13 year old concluded that it would have made more sense to give me a dollar than cancel the sale. Cinnabon would appear more honest and customer focused.I realize times are hard but this behavior confirms, this Cinnabon doesn't value its customers...

I had a bad experience several years ago in which one of the college kids was working and gave me a hard time. I tried using the survey "reward" and she started guilting me for using coupons. I am glad she is gone now, cause she was the reason I did not go back for years. You can tell she lacked proper customer service as she was rude and inattentive to customer needs.
My last visit I did have a more positive experience but it was just the staff trying to make additional sales. I got "Free" toppings with my purchase of minions. My advice to anyone wanting free toppings just tell the staff its your first time trying the toppings. After sampling the topics I now know which ones I like. But in all honesty you are probably better off adding these toppings at home. I would not pay extra for their toppings....
