I purchased the oyster basket from Uber Eats. Unfortunately, the french fries were extremely unsatisfactory. They lacked the expected crunch and were disappointingly soggy. I was quite dismayed as my bill amounted to $40, which I find completely unacceptable. The fries should have been fried properly, but they were a soggy mess, the oysters themselves was great. I may consider ordering the oysters again, but without the fries. Additionally, I ordered the crispy Mahalo shrimp, but I probably won't order it again, despite its crispiness. The Cajun sauce was unpleasant, and the butter and Cajun sauce combination was just okay. I might opt for the garlic butter sauce next time. The rice was dry but edible. Gave me wrong order and there is no way to contact this restaurant as all the numbers do not work. I wasn’t goin to complain if the food blew me away but tbh my hometown in Indiana has a better boil than this spot. That’s not a good thing. Potatoes not done properly. Dry asl ordered headless shrimp and got head on shrimp. Ordered a sailers lunch thing and that didn’t even come with the rice or anything. Other order wasn’t supposed to have mussels but that bag got mussels. It’s a lot of money to be paying for this type of service and product. Had no clue this was a type of pickup & go place, even the picture shows a restaurant 🥴 food was actually very good, people complain about the soggy fries or whatever but that’s a risk you take when using Uber eats. Everything I had was very good, waited less than 10 min for it to be ready. Flavor was slightly lacking compared to other places I’ve had this type of food from, however for the short wait, ease of ordering it was still worth & I’ll def be back for sure.
