Beacon Motel — Hotel in Long Beach

I didn't expect high quality service for the area itself is pretty rough (ghetto) its on Pacific Coast High way, that street itself is already known for bad reputation (prostitution, drugs,etc) Anyways the manager is completely completely RUDE. I am a very patient and respectful individual, however, the way this man conducts his business is absolute outrageous . He lacks interpersonal skills, and does not care how he treats his customers. After I purchased my room/night , I had to call him over into the room because the service for the television was not working. I asked him politely and he said Ill go over there. I settled in put my purse down and downgraded my shoes into sandals. He comes in. "DON'T MAKE A MESS, DON'T MAKE A MESS" he yells. I then respond "Excuse me"? (in the curious voice tone ever) "DON'T Make a mess"! he responds in an aggressive manner. I then look at him like he was crazy and ignored him. Before he left the room I told him " Dont worry about it, Im a neat organize person anyways". .WOW!!!!!! At this point he is a joke. If you pay for your stay it is not correct for the manager to tell you that especially after the customer is calling him over due to a broken television , don't know what made him feel like he was entitle to say this. Don't tell me how to conduct my self in a private room ,instant, I PAID CASH out of pocket for. What was even more shocking was that the next following day it was 10:30 am and the manager was banging on my door to get out. The policy clearly states check in is at 12:00 pm to 11:00 am (the following day) this man violated his own contract. Yes its the cheapest booking in long beach but I would recommend investing an additional 10 dollars else where and not ever ever again have to be put through this. Beacon...

I have to say that I did a roadtrip in the USA. And I was quite lucky with the places I stayed in. (Great new refurbished places!)|This one , in my opinion was in the last position in all the places I stayed in with the one in San Francisco, but not because there were bad, it is because the other ones were excellent!!! Better than a hotel!!!!!||First of all, this place It is in a working class area, it is not walking distance to the beach I think but I am not sure as I was using the car.Behind this place there is a Goodwill (for me this is awesome!) and if you drive at the end of the road there are Mcdonadls, Taco Bells, KFC , dollar tree... I had breakfast everyday in McDonald's hahaha and the Long beach main area was around 10 minutes drive. For us, we just wanted a cheap hotel , with no deposit and free car park as we were going only to use it for sleep and a quick shower. |I think I payed around £100 for 3 days , so not bad. ||I would recommend this place if you go like us , to sleep (not noises around of neighbours as the manager is really strict about respect between rooms ) and to have a shower. ||I have to say I have been in muchhhhh better places , but obviously I have paid double price almost.||The area maybe you can think is dangerous but I left my key outside the door and the next morning was in there.||Like other people has said , there is lot of cctv.||My room was very clean, and didn't have many furnitures, that is perfect for me as I had lot of luggages. The only noise was the fridge , so I unplugged it.||The man in the reception was professional.|||We don't have anything bad to say about this place! If we go back we will stay one or...
