Broadway Cocktail Lounge — Restaurant in Long Beach

Recently stopped by Friday night for karaoke. Met one of the locals and we hit it off. Went to order a round for us and the bartender - Michael completely ignored me. After trying several times to get his attention, I gave up. My other friend (not the local) went up to order and got drinks right away. After analyzing the situation/asking others I discovered that the bartender didn't like the local I had just met and decided to punish me for trying to order drinks for both of us. Absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable btichy attitude! If he didn't like the local then why not kick him out or say something to me instead of ignoring me and acting like an entitled KAREN???? I just moved to LBC/a block away and thanks to Michael - Broadway Bar lost a good customer. ...

Great neighborhood bar, love the bartenders here, they are real chill. The karaoke tonight was mediocre tonight. The KJ seemed to rotate his regulars frequently without consideration for new singers like myself and a handful of others. I waited around and left after hearing a couple of people sing twice. Don't block the KJs view of the pool table and books, he rudely yelled for my partner and I to move so he could see it, all you had to do...

Only for those that are desperate. Yes, some great bartenders that know to pour heavy, but NO tap beers, don't blame the bartenders. ....locals hangout with many that have been kicked out at other places. What I just realized is.....bring your own friends and it is actually OK. Bartenders and food next door is good as well. Karaoke crowd and others are the real reason to rate it poorly.
